L smiled wanely at Ryu. "Yes I am fine. Nothing broken or busted really," he said. He shifted on his hqunches. "Are you alright? I really didn't mean to scare you...it is just that I don't trust my brother and I let angry control my actions. I am truely sorry for letting that happen," L whispered, shame on his nornally blank face.

Jaackson smiled thinly. "No, I am fine," he whispered. He went to reach out to touch Alec but pulled back. You said you hate me. I respect it, he thought with a frown. He leaned back and folded his arms over his chest. He closed his crimson eyes to hold bqck his tears.

Ryu nodded. " I'm fine.. I just don't like people fighting.. especially if they are family becuase family shouldn't fight" he said quietly " its not good when family fights cause you might say some thing you dont mean or do something you would regret."

Alec swallowed when Jackson pulled back from touching him, running his hands over to dry his stinging eyes. The look on his master's face hurt him. As he looked up, as the vampire, who looked almost bored or annoyed. Maybe he was wrong. Maybe there was something more. Causiouly, Alec pulled on Jackson's pants leg, trying to get his attention again, but unable to talk.

L sighed. "Me and my brother are not on family terms. We disowned each other about fifty years ago," he whispered. He stared down at his bare feet and closed his eyes to hold back the rising tears.

Jackson opened his eyes and tilted his head down to look at Alec. "What?" He asked. Voice hoarse and soft with unshed tears. His eyes wet as he didn't blink to keep from crying.
