Laurline
Laurline, though having calmed down significantly, was still stewing over math class. She caught Matthew's eye- whom she suspected had glanced in her way- and mustered a weak smile. Though she never cared for social interactions, as long as everyone was
okay with her, then she was fine. But for whatever reason- maybe because everyone here was similar- she felt more compelled to befriend her peers. (Hah! I enjoy writing this- of course I wind up laughing at my own vocabulary...

Amelia
Amelia looked up from her computer- on which she was still prepping for this class, regardless of it being the first day- and smiled. There were already a few students awaiting class time! She hopped in her seat a little, bubbling over with excitement for the start of class. When she was in high school, she was fascinated with becoming a teacher, and so pursued this dream, gathering up every exciting moment of her life each morning so that she could appear cheerful to her class. The other teachers at 'the old school' called her weird. Maybe she was.
(All we need is some communication. I really hope I don't sound like a brat to any of you...
