Tyler thought for a moment. There wouldn't be any tools just lying around for them to use. Whitecoats didn't need hammers or crowbars, or anything of the sort. He knew he had a few heavy books and items in his room, which could be useful. He formulated a plan in his head, checking over it quickly in his head before speaking. "Down the hall are some other doors, covered in frosted glass. We could easily break through those doors with some heavy objects." Tyler said, standing up. He beckoned for Will to follow him, jogging towards his room. "There should be another way to access the lab from those halls, there's no way there's only one path there." he told Will. The Whitecoats weren't like that, their complex was almost set up in a grid system. It wouldn't be too hard to find Charlie, with his panther nose and all. Hopefully they wouldn't run into too many Whitecoats, and the man seemed strong enough to take them out. Tyler was a skilled fighter, but since being captured, his endurance had decreased. He figured they wouldn't need to take out all of them, only those who got in their way.

As Will finished speaking, he mentally kicked himself. Scouting first would have been helpful. He had been gone over a year now, and things had changed greatly. He didn't even recognize the hall he was in, though he wasn't sure if it was his faulty memory or the whitecoats' doing. He snapped from his musings as the other boy spoke. He nodded at the words, finding sense there. He did remember that hallways here seemed to be more like a labyrinth than anything. "Frosted glass windows should be rather easy to break, at least for us." Without another word, he moved to a chair near the one in which Tyler was sitting. Inhaling once, he bent down and hoisted it above his head. It was decently sturdy, though it could have been a bit heavier. "Grab that chair and lead on."

sharlee rolled over, her body falling onto the hard cold floor. she grumbled and lifted up, turning to see her sister up against a wall asleep. well, by what she thought was asleep. slowly she lifted herself off the ground and grabbed her left arm. it ached, severely and she couldn't seem to grasp why it hurt so bad. though she ignored her pain and shuffled over to her shimiko. gently she pushed her shoulder, hoping this would awake her. for a few seconds nothing happened, but soon her beautiful brown eyes beamed up at her. quickly she grasped her in a hug and smiled. sis! i'm so glad your okay. she a bit of worry in her voice. shimiko stood up and sat down in a chair that was in their room. that i was okay? sharlee, you're the one who passed out while telling me about how much you missed your cat. she said with a bit of concern. i've been up all night and all of yesterday, studying you. often you would start mumbling about how they were chasing you. she finished, remembering that they were no longer human. her hand ran through her sisters hair, pushing back the white ear that stuck up from her head. a soft smile can across her face and she stood up. let's go into one of the common rooms, there has to be something for you to drink in there. shimiko was more concerned about her sister, than herself. even though she really needed some water, she wanted her to be healthier and pretty much forgot to care for her own self. with gentle steps she and her sister walked to the common room, looking around the whole area trying to see if there were any whitecoats around to give them water. they had only been here for one week after their experiment, so they hadn't really left their dorm mostly because the whitecoats thought they weren't stable enough yet.

She slowly awoke her eyes flickering open and closed before finally snapping open, she looked around the I'm the whitecoats were gone. She sighed with relief and watched the heart monitor the rise and fall of the green line and steady beep comforted her. She looked away as a sudden pain shot through her arm, she looked to her upper arm to see blood stained gauze covering it. She winced as she moved her arm the pain increasing, causing another short gasp like scream but she didn't stop until the gauze fell off. She wanted to see what they had done to her, a line of blood trickled down her arm and dripped onto the floor below. She gasped at the mark, around the puncture wound it was already a black bruise, purple and green spreading out until it stopped. The bruise was about the size of her fist but what made her gasp was the jagged mark that the blood trickled out of. Due to her movement during the shot it had curved creating a jagged mark in her arm. "D**n those whitecoats" she hissed and leaned her head back her head growing dizzy and vision blurring. She was tired and weak from passing out but she fused to sleep she ended get out of here, but the restraints holding her down prevented much movement. "I hope Tyler can get me out of here before they come back" she thought staring at the ceiling.

Tyler nodded, lifting the ornate chair above his head and resting it on his shoulders. He ran down the hall, stopping at the first frosted glass door he saw. Thankfully, they didn't have to travel far. Tyler took a step back, and threw the chair. It shattered the glass, landing a few feet away on the other side of the door. No Whiteocats were in this area, but they probably heard the crash. "Well, here we are." Tyler said lamely, gesturing towards the hall. He cautiously stepped forward, his feet crunching on the broken glass. He transformed into his half-panther form, ears swiveled forward. Sniffing the air, Tyler detected the slightest hint of blood. Either Charlie was really far away, or panthers weren't as great at smelling as he thought. He glanced back at Will. He was obviously an Eknos, something strong and powerful; maybe a wolf. "Do you smell that?" he asked.

Will followed after the other boy, matching his pace easily. When he threw his chair, Will lifted his own and smashed a neighboring window. This way, they could get out quicker than if there was only one window open. Will stepped through the window as well, ignoring the crunching noise under his feet. He was just worried about them being caught. He had escaped for a year- he would not be brought back into this place now. His eyes were drawn to the other boy as he transformed. It looked like a type of black cat, so probably a panther. He smirked and shifted himself. His hair was already strangely colored, that much was always there. His tail and ears appeared and his teeth lengthened as he sniffed the air as well. He was instantly assaulted by smells that drew out painful memories. A loud growl escaped him. "I smell antiseptic and human. I also smell something that is similar to a bird, or at least feathers, and strange chemicals." He started forward, moving quickly and letting go of his caution as he normally did.

She had just barely dozed off her exhaustion taking over when the sound of shattering glass and two loud bangs caused her to jump awake. "What was that?" She wondered looking around the room but no windows in her room had been broken. She sighed laying her head back down, she felt her beanie fall off and the rest of her hair came tumbling out strewn across the table. She hissed in frustration as the soft thud told her it had fallen all the way to the floor when suddenly an idea occured to her. They had injected her with telekinesis, taking a moment to think she remembered this meant she could move objects with her mind. She closed her eyes and concentrated on her beanie, in her mind she could see it slowly lifting. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead and her head began to pound as she concentrated. When the pounding increased and she couldn't bear it anymore she opened her eyes letting out a gasp of breath. She could feel a trickle of sweat heading down into her hair as she gasped for air the pounding in her head slowly decreased into a dull headache.

Tyler ran after him. Will seemed about the same age as he was, perhaps a little younger, but he was much stronger than he was. He knew it had to do with being fused with a wolf. But even then, if they were to wrestle or fight, Will would easily overpower Tyler. I need to work out more, Tyler thought as they ran. The smell of blood and antiseptic grew, as well as the slight scent of sweat. His breaths quickened, out of fear for Charlie and he was rather paranoid himself. As the pair drew closer to the lab, the more Whitecoats they passed. Most of them just stared at them, shocked at their sudden appearance. They finally reached the room where Charlie was being held, at least that's what his nose told him. Unfortunately, a group of Whitecoats were standing in front of the door. They were holding clipboards, vials, and needles, which wasn't exactly great, but at least they weren't armed. Some of the Whitecoats they had passed earlier had gathered behind them, mostly weaponless. "You can fight, right?" he asked Will. He figured that he could, but if he couldn't, then Tyler would be on his own.

Will's forward motion soon evolved into a full-out run, both because this was a rescue mission and because the whitecoats had noticed them. He wasn't sure if they were upset because their precious experiments were loose, or because some of them recognized Will from his last encounter with them. As they reached another door, his eyes narrowed at the group of humans standing before it. His ears and tail were still present, meaning that his teeth were also still there. He heard the other boy say something about fighting, but Will didn't respond. He just chuckled deeply, a mixture of a laugh and a growl, before launching himself towards the whitecoats at the door. He used both his fists and his teeth to attack, as well as throwing in a few kicks here and there. His main priority was getting through the door, and his sudden attack seemed to have surprised them. Instead of thinking and using their needles and whatever they had, they were either defensive or beating him with clipboards.
