Why do you think its important to have a place like the SCAA?
Because people need a place to find new homes for unused/unwanted characters. One mans trash is anothers treasure, right? Ive found many characters here that I love with all my heart, Hazmat, Jay, Nila, and Freya. If they were sold instead of donated.. Theyd probably continue to be passed around from user to user, and if theyre lucky, find a forever home. But SCAS is different.. you guys find forever homes for the good of the character, not profit. :'3

Why do you think its important to have a place like the SCAA?
I opened up the SCAA in mid-2011 because I had always loved and envied the staff of the Agency and Pound of Hope for running such successful agencies! Before the frenzy of the character design shops forum, there wasn't as much talk about OC's. If you didn't want an OC anymore, you sent it to the Agency or the Pound of Hope, hosted a giveaway, or just retired them. There was no selling. There was no inbetween like that. And back then, it seemed like people used their characters a lot more. Now they're just objects passed around for the gain of the seller. Opening the SCAA was a lot of fun for me, because I love organizing things like this! But it was also to ensure that old designs got someone new to love them. That's why the "no selling or trading" rule that comes with each and every SCAA character is VERY important to me. :'D

I knew it was Ossian, but I had to go searching to find the date. It was one of the most nostalgic things ever... I read through the first 21 pages of the original thread. Wow ;o;

Anyways, it's this boy, Ossian:

Not too long ago, it was Hazmat! Hes been my love since i got him, though recently he hasnt been getting much attention due to lack of funds. But still!
I write about him a lot, and im still on the quest to find him a mate.

no, but seriously, it's really nice to be able to apply for a design, filling out their personality and history and just developing them before you get them!! and then you get the forms judged on stuff like quality [and quantity], originality !!

the first character I applied for was Zephyr, I won him quite recently!

Heh, I know that feeling lulu. I wanted to finish Socks' form before I committed myself to another kennel (just about wrapping up his story now <3) but when I first saw Clyde my muse just about exploded |D I tend to be bad at finishing stories but I'm actually quite excited to write his. X3
