She thought back to her owner, the girl who took care of her until she could no longer care for her. She sighed. Would Dapple approve? Dapple was her stable-mate, but he was more than that. He was her mate, to be together forever. To watch their foal grow up, and to pass peacefully, under the golden clouds. She never got the chance to have a foal with Dapple. She sighed again, not knowing what to do. She never did learn what happened to Dapple.
