Everyone knows the story of how the capitol was overthrown by the districts. Inspired by Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the rebels were able to defeat President Snow after a terrible war. Many were killed, but the districts had won their freedom. It was also known that the rebels voted to have the capitol children directly related to the capitols highest powers partake in the very last hunger games, as a retaliation of the years of torture the districts had to go through. The 76th hunger games was brutal; the capitol children refused to kill each other and they all eventually died of natural causes. Earthquakes, poison berries, dehydration. It was over within 3 days. The games were finally over. Well, atleast that's what everyone thought.

100 years later, the games are back. Katniss and Peeta and dead and gone along with the rest of the original rebellion, and a new president, Nellie Armade, has taken over. There was never a real reason that the games returned, just that the capital still wanted them. Even though the government is more of a democracy, some of the districts voted for the games. Districts 1 and 2 and the newly deemed career district 7 of course voted strongly for the games, while the weaker districts like the newly rebuilt 12 and 8 were strongly against the games. They were outvoted, and the horrors of the games are back. The rules are the same; 2 tributes from each district will be reaped once a year to participate from the games. Volunteers are still accepted, and every 25 years there will be a quarter quell.

The 77th Hunger Games, the first since the rebellion, is sure to be a big hit. New game makers, bigger arenas, greater dangers.

↠Literacy is semi-lit. That means you need to post atleast 8 lines per character. Your posts need to look nice, and have some sort of coding.
↠You have to make your own forms and characters, but that shouldn't be too hard. You can have short forms, as long as it has Name, age, district, strength, weakness, and skills. You can have up to two characters, one girl and one boy. The spots we don't fill will just be killed in the bloodbath and everyone can play those characters. ALSO. this is really important, please match your characters to their districts! Don't have a beautiful blonde girl with green eyes who is strong and powerful from 12, or a poor, skinny guy from 1. This also applies with names. There are lots of guides on the internet to making a realistic tribute which are very helpful. Don't be upset if I don't accept your character.

None of us want our characters to die. So to make it fair, I am going to put every characters name in a bowl and randomly pick who dies first. I will pm you, and you can decide how your character will die, but they must die within 2 posts of me telling you. After your character dies, you can become a game maker, and make things like earthquakes or floods happen, but don't kill of characters unless it is their turn to die. Also, you can become a sponsor/mentor and send gifts to tributes.

Charming, sweet, perfect. Meet Ariella, the tribute from district four. From afar, you will see a sweet, cute girl who looks like she couldn't harm a fly. Come in a little closer, you will notice her striking blue eyes and toned body. Many people have stopped looking at the surface, content with the charming front Ariella puts up. If you go deeper though, you will find this girl isn't as sweet as she once seemed. In fact, Ariella will end up being one of the most sly, deviously, fake person you will ever say hi to. Friends were never an issue or a concern for the popular girl, and she always had some boy wanting to date her and some girls wanting to be her. Friends came and went, but Ariella never let them forget who she was, whether it be by ruining their life or giving them scars to remember her by. Growing up in district 4, Ariella was always well off in the richer district. Her father was a fisherman, her mother making nets for the men who worked on his boats. Her great-grandfather was in fact the Finnick Odair, rebel tribute from four. She is told that's where her good looks and charm come from. She has never felt the sharp pang of hunger, or the ache of thirst in the back of her throat. In fact, Ariella spent most of her time in the water. Whether it be hunting the ocean for food or just having fun, Ariella was practically a fish by the time she was 5.

Ariella plans on winning the games on her sponsors. Her charming personality is sure to win over the hearts of the capitol, and Ariella is definitely not going to just let that get away. She's going to milk those bright colored idiots for everything that they have. Also, she plans on playing the sweet, lovable girl in the beginning before turning deadly to win it all. Ariella has been working with spears and tridents since she was 8 years old and is very handy with a knife. Ariella is going to stick with the careers if they allow it, but that is only for the first part. The first chance she gets, Ariella is going to back stab those dumb tributes and take crown for herself. Since this is the first games in a while, Ariella was a little surprised to be going in. No one volunteered for her, proving that her district has been losing power under the new ruler. Still, the girl is prepared and looks to her victor relatives for guidance.

At first glance, you would never image that the bulky boy came from one of the poorest districts in the Panem. He lived a lucky life; he worked on a cattle farm for a richer man and made decent money and was able to provide for his family. His father was killed in a fire on his dry land, and thats when he started working and providing for his mother and three sisters. The name Farley means "Meadow of the bulls" which really hits home with his district of livestock.

Rory is especially good at two types of weapon. The first of these is knife-throwing, which was the first thing she was trained to do, and loves the most, specifically favored are her older daggers, for they hold the world's history, she believes. Second is her archery skills. Rarely does she miss her target, her mark, since her father is so harsh if she does.

Rory is of moderate height, standing at about five foot six inches. She weighs only around one hundred and twenty pounds, perhaps a bit more. Her hair is naturally a very dark brown, nearly black, but is dyed bright, firetruck red. Her eyes are a dark, oceanic blue in color. Her skin tone is light, a bit pale, and she has a intricate rose tattoo on her right shoulder/upper back. She also has an owl tattoo in her middle back

Rory can be seen as a very bright and curious young woman.
Of course, she does have her.. Moments.
She has a fiery temper that flares quickly, and often, for apparently no reason.
She is not afraid to get into a fight, in her heels and all.
She is not in the slightest bit afraid of blood, in fact, she believes that,
when she gets into a fight, the blood just disappears into her clothing,
due to her obsession with the color red.
She is very creative, especially when it comes to art, which is something she adores.
She does not think that she needs any allies to win the games,
for she is a strong and confident person. I suppose we shall see.

Rory's father was a very harsh man, always,
especially since her mother died giving birth to the girl.
He has always been extremely hard on her, training her everyday;
it was almost as if she were to be a career, the way she was trained.
Never did he show any compassion, any love, to his daughter,
instead he was cold and heartless; never was anything she did good enough.
Due to her being from the district of electronics,
when she learned about tattooing, in a 'black market' of sorts,
she fell in love. She got her owl first, so her father wouldn't see,
but soon decided she didn't care if he saw, and got her roses.
Her father acted as if they weren't even there, or maybe he just didn't notice.
Each and every year since she was twelve, he put her name in more and more,
in exchange for more tesserae, and this past year, her name was in the bowl 39 times.
It is no surprise that she was chosen, and her father, for once, seemed pleased.

history: Ramsey was born in the richest part of the District. He was taught by his father how to sword fight, quickly advancing in the skill. As the only child, he is used to all the attention being on him and enjoys it greatly. Ramsey's father was killed in an accident when he was 10, leaving the boy with a lot of pent-up anger. Though he loves his mother, his father's death has not left his mind.
personality: Ramsey is a quick-thinking and charming person. He greatly enjoyed all the attention lavished upon him by the girls at the schoolyard. Underneath his smooth outer shell is a cold, calculating mind paired with a want for revenge. His father's death affected him greatly and he feels as if the government is to blame. Ramsey is outwardly very friendly, but he would have to qualms in killing.
description: Ramsey is 6'1 and well-muscled. His hair is always brushed out of his face. He is a strong sword fighter, although he is not a fast runner. He uses his brains and brawn to his advantage, even if it gets him in trouble.
