Sunfish felt on fire, she squirmed in her nest uncomfortably. She was in a forest with fire all around her. She saw where her clan used to be, burning. She heard screeches coming from it, and as she tried to run towards it, she got stuck in her place. She couldn't move. "Dawnclan, no!" she wailed. Suddenly she felt a hot presence on her fur. She looked over to her side and saw a branch on fire right over her back, singing her fur. Just as she felt dizzy, she woke up. She jerked her head up with a start to feel the crisp air. She looked at how she had messed up her nest, and began to fix it before anyone saw. She then sat down and started grooming her fur before she set out into the camp clearing. There, she saw a few cats stirring, including her apprentice. She saw him talking with another apprentice, so decided to leave him alone. Sighing, she sat in the clearing and looked around, deciding what to do.

Tigerpaw shivered from the morning cold. His nest was beginning to be too small for him. Sighing, he rolled over and opened his bright amber eyes. His fluffy fur picked up every dust particle in the den as he scrambled to get up. Tigerpaw huffed up a weary yawn and stretched his legs. He then got up at headed to the clearing, his fur still dirty and matted. He never really cared to groom his pelt unless it was a special occasion. He would be a pretty handsome cat if he groomed it daily, though. Tigerpaw looked around and saw the prey pile. It looked pitiful, and needed to be refilled. Pfft. I guess I'll take care of that. He though, padding out of camp. As he headed into the forest, he smelled squirrel. Lucky day. He though, as squirrels were uncommon in this season. He dropped down and started stalking it, and just as he was about to pounce on it the wind started to blow downwind to the squirrel. Immediately, the animal caught Tigerpaw's scent and ran up a tree. Tigerpaw let out an exasperated sigh and looked up at the sky, "Really? Wind?" He grumbled, getting up and heading deeper into the territory.
