She had continued bouncing the ball while she waited for him to reply, the rubber causing her hand to sweat she rubbed it off on her knee and caught the ball with her other hand. Finally dry and only feeling somewhat clammy she stopped rubbing her hand and let it hand to cool in the air of the room allowing it to completely dry. She smiled at his response "Your maybe the second person to think my name is ' cool' " she said thinking back to the first person who had ever said that. Her best friend, Josh had said the same thing when they first met most kids just gave her weird looks or even argued with her. Once the whitecoats had gotten her name she had heard them joking about changing her gender to suit her name. She shuddered at the thought, thankfully they hadn't done such a thing yet. She snapped out of the past as his voice popped her little bubble of remembrance. She shook her head her beanie shaking a bit with her head "No I'm an only child. You?" She asked looking to him as she adjusted her seating. She leaned her back into the arm of the chair and brought her legs to fold against the other arm, tossing the ball in the air instead of the floor.

Tyler nodded in response, "A twin brother, James. We're fraternal." He told her. He glanced over in the direction of the dorms the Whitecoats had provided them. James was in there resting. He turned his attention back to Charlie, "He's really sick, something the Whitecoats did to him." Tyler said, his voice laden with worry and pain. His brother was the most important thing in the world to him, he couldn't live without him. They were always doing things together as kids, never leaving each other for anything. As they grew older, Tyler went out more, but he still was close to James. Tyler crossed his arms, staring down at the floor. His eyes turned from bright blue to a darker shade, and his posture was slumped. He felt so defeated and lost, unable to do anything for himself or for his brother, but at least he had some company now. Charlie seemed nice enough, perhaps she could convince James to leave, and then they could go outside and stay somewhere. They'd be happy, living off the land away from the needles and instruments of the Whitecoats. Stop that Tyler, he berated himself, thoughts like that will get you nowhere. Tyler felt bad for not being more attentive to Charlie, she probably wanted to ask him a million questions about this place and know more about him. He shook himself mentally, and raised his head, looking Charlie in her hazel eyes. "I think James will be fine though." He added on as an afterthought.

Charlie looked to him curiosity sparking in her hazel eyes "A fraternal twin. That's pretty cool I mean it's not like your identical twins but still pretty awesome" She said dropping the ball onto her lap, her arms growing tired. She listened feeling his pain as he spoke "That's horrible! I hope he feels better soon" she said sympathy laced through her voice, her eyes losing the spark to be replaced with hope and determination. She hadn't been here long she had gotten her wings here as well as experiments run on her needles stuck in her arms the usual test. She wondered what they could have done to him, she had noticed him looking towards the dorms she figured he must be in there, resting as Tyler had said. She knew she needed to get out of here, she missed the open skies and freedom but seeing how the tests could actually be fatal, she didn't want that to happen to her. But she couldn't go alone, she would need help perhaps Tyler would be willing to... "No he won't leave without his brother we'll have to wait, besides what if he didn't want to leave." She thought meeting his gaze as he added that his brother James would be fine. She nodded her agreement "I hope so" She said staring back into his blue eyes. But she broke contact a moment later unable to hold his intense gaze any longer.

William moved silently through the trees, his built but slightly thin form easily sliding through the shadows. His ears flicked at every sound, his eyes continually scanned the horizon for threats. So far, the day, and even the week, had been relatively peaceful. It was strange, but rather nice. Will decided that now was the perfect time to strike. He had only done this once before, but he was now going back to try and rescue another poor soul from that horrid place. The last time, he saved one girl that looked about 14. She had been mixed with some type of reptile, and had made it safely away. He didn't know what had become of her, but hopefully she was still alive out there somewhere.

Tyler looked over at the purple tennis ball resting in Charlie's hands. He brought himself off of the couch, and stood in front of her. He grabbed the ball, rolling it around in his hands. Tyler absentmindedly toyed with a piece of Charlie's hair. It was dirty blonde in color, messy, but soft. Tyler gently wrapped the piece around his finger, thinking about his brother. He noticed that Charlie smelled really nice, like flowers and grass, and fresh spring water. He blushed slightly, coming to his senses, and let go of her hair. Tyler started to walk towards the hall that led to the dorms, gesturing for Charlie to follow him, "You'll need a place to sleep, there's a lot of empty rooms here." he said. Tyler waited for her to come over. He would peek into his and James' room to see how he was faring. And then he'd show Charlie around, maybe learn some more about her. Maybe he'd talk to her about escaping, they could come up with a plan so good, that James would have to come.

She watched him suddenly stand and approach her, her gaze not leaving him unsure of what he would do, she was curious though. Suddenly he took to ball back and rolled it in his hands, she was about to protest but bit her tongue remembering it was his to begin with. She froze when she felt a piece of her hair being toyed with, she looked to him heat rising into her cheeks making them rosy pink as she blushed. This close she noticed how chiseled his face truly was, high cheekbones giving him an authoritative look while his bright blue eyes seemed as endless as the sky. But within seconds he released her hair and she snapped out of it, her cheeks cooling and returning to their pale complexion. She watched him walk away, waiting for him to disappear but instead he gestured for her to follow him inside the dorms. "Oh good, I thought I'd have to take this couch" She said joking lightly as she stood and walked after him. She came up beside him casting causal glances at him every now and then, she was curious about him to know his story.

"Now that wouldn't be fitting for a lady, would it?" Tyler said, a smile on his face. He noticed her casual glances at him, cursing himself for, well, flirting with her so soon. He walked for a bit, passing by several closed doors. He stopped in front of one marked with the numbers 813 on it, and turned the knob. Inside were two beds, a dresser, and closet, along with a few other things. James was laying on one of them, the crisp white covers strewn about his pale body. His grey and blue wings were a mess, they were usually folded in neatly but right now, they were spread open and limp. Tyler tip toed inside to check on him, "You can come in if you like." he whispered to Charlie. Tyler walked up to James, who had somehow managed to take off his shirt in his sleep. He must've gotten to hot. Tyler figured. He pressed his hand to his forehead, it was still warm, but not burning like it was earlier. Tyler smiled down at his brother, a soft, gentle and loving one. He was glad James was doing better, and figured he'd be awake in a few hours. He had forgotten that Charlie was there, but then he remembered that he needed to show her to a room so she could rest.

She smiled "Ha probably not but I wouldn't care" she said shrugging her shoulders, it's not like she hadn't spent her share of nights sleeping on couches even on the floor at times. Sometimes she even finds it comfortable to lay on the floor, it keeps the spine aligned as well as just comfortable. She followed behind him stopping as he did, looking around the hallway she wondered which room he would appoint her. Her gaze returned to the door when she heard the click of the of the knob and whoosh as the door was pushed open. She was instantly curious of the room looking around her eyes instantly falling on the boy laying shirtless in the bed, but it wasn't his body that caught her attention. It was his wings. They were blue and gray something that made her jealous. She couldn't help it, she had plain black wings so she always felt just a pinch of jealously at the sight of colorful wings. But she loved her wings so it was gone almost as soon as it had come. She tiptoed in behind him as he invited her in, she lean against the wall her wings against the wall and arms folded over her chest. She watched as he check his tempature, and smiled to himself "I guess thatmeans he's better than before" she thought with a smile, glad to see he was doing okay. "You should try getting a wet cold rag on his forehead. It'll help keep him cool" she whispered suggestively, looking to James with a worried gaze. She didn't even know him, but if someone was in pain she would worry about them she couldn't help herself it was just in her nature.

"Good idea." Tyler whispered back, he hadn't thought of that. He affectionately brushed his brothers hair out of his face, taking one last look at him before turning to leave. "There's a bathroom down the hall, maybe there's a rage in there," he pondered, "but I'll show you to your room first." He said. Tyler led her down the hall, passing a couple of doors, and stopped at the door labeled 816. He didn't want to give her room right next to him and his brother, that. Isn't be uncomfortable, but he did want her to be close enough so that she could stop by anytime. He opened the door. Inside was a crisp, clean room with all the amenities that a girl could need. For once, the furniture in there rooms weren't white, but rather a mix of dark colored wood. Tyler stepped inside, "Here you go." Tyler said, gesturing in. He felt the sudden urge to give Charlie a hug! figuring that the time spent taking care of James had left him lacking in their brotherly love, which consisted mostly of wrestling and reading. Tyler stuffed his hands in his pockets, not in a hurry to fetch James a damp towel.

"Probably" she agreed before nodding as he mentioned showing her to a room, she followed him out and walked with him down the hall. She was slightly disapointed to see him taking a few rooms away "Well he probably wants privacy for him and his brother,-" she shrugged mid thought "-I'd like mine to I suppose not like I'll have anything to do that requires much of it" she finished stepping into the room. She gazed around it glad to see it was colored instead of just white, she wouldn't be able to stay in a completly white room she would just go insane or atleast beg the whitecoats for paint or a pencil so she could decorate the walls. She turned to face him with a small smile "Umm well I'm sure you'll want to get to your brother, so see you around?" she asked instead of making a statement not sure if he even wanted to leave. She had taken notice at how he seemed not to be in any hurry to get the rag for him so she absentmindedley picked tapped her fingers on her leg as she waited for a reply.
