Emily smiled as she walked into the water. It felt so good on this warm summer day. "My name Emily. What's yours?"she said sweetly as she walked farther into the water towards him.

Carter gave her his award winning bright white smile. "Nice to meet you Emily. The name's Carter." he introduced himself, holding out his hand for her to shake. He laughed as a wave surged up to splash him in the face. He wiped the salty water off his face, shaking his head.

Emily shook Carter's hand with a smile on her face. She laughed softly when the wave splashed him in the face. She walked closer to him.

Carter wrinkled his nose slightly "Hey not funny!" he said, even though he was laughing. He reached down and splashed her lightly. "The tables are turned." he said with a sly grin. He slipped his hair, specks of water splashing her.

Emily laughed. "Hey that's not funny. "She said softly as she splashed carter back. Emily just continued to laugh it was the start of a great day.

Carter laughed at her softly "I think it is." he said with a grin. A large wave came and knocked him under. He resurfaced shortly after, shaking the water out of his hair. He blinked a few times to get the water out of his eyes. "Okay, now that was funny!" he laughed loudly.

Emily laughed. "Yeah it was. "She said as she fixed her hair. She laughed when he shook the water out of his hair and it splashed her.

Carter stood back up and stretched. "So Emily, what do you do for fun?" he asked her curiously. He gave a light sigh, trying to figure out what to talk about.

"Hmm it depends on the day. I love the beach, playing with my dad and I usually run. What do you do for fun?"said Emily trying to make a conversation.

Carter rubbed his chin thoughtfully "Well let's see. I like sports, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, going to parties. Basic teen stuff, yanno?" he said to her with a smile. He started to walk out of the water, motioning for her to come with him.
