I tried a new style a little while ago and use it sometime. XD It's more time consuming than my usual, but I like it. X3

-stares- I have an odd obsession for legs/paws/feet so I like looking at the bend it Dew's back legs in that picture? xD

Yes, they are herd animals. XD They are small and serve as prey to many other animals, so being in a herd is really the only way for them to survive. =3

OHHH I think I get it now. x3 They live in a herd, and around the Siv adult males get groups of females? Do they all stay together until the kids are weaned?

And what would happen if a harem's ram were to be killed? Would the females just disperse and join up with other harems for the security of their kids?

No, the females pretty much spread out after the Siv is over. =3 I am guessing this pretty much just means that the death of the male does not matter. X3

Um, last one for the day and hopefully I can start/finish my story. x3 Could a kid survive on its own if it was close to the normal time of weaning, like nine or ten months? If not, would another ewe consider caring for it alongside its own offspring?

I had a good plot in mind, but this newly acquired information has sent it plummeting over a proverbial cliff, so. XD

I believe that another doe would care for it. ^^ There are plenty of does with kids around this time, so it wouldn't be so hard. X3 I think they would be weaned by that time and simply still being close to mom though, not sure.
