What dragons eat what food?

I have 2 Faes,
2 Imps,
5 PC,
& 4 SD.

I know the SD/PC eat the grass. But what about Faes & Imps? Faes should eat much, but everyday there are 16 bugs eaten & only 8 seashells. Am I missing something?

If you hover over their images they say what they eat. :3

though SDs can eat plants, they prefer insects over plants, PCs also known to eat insects if there's no plants

but I don't know, this is just my thought xD
