Zayden caught the candy bar, thanking him quickly before opening it and breaking it in half, munching on it quietly. He shrugged his shoulders with a half-grin. "Ah, I'm always quiet. It's just that this all happened so suddenly." he said, looking up when he noticed Grace and nodding as a greeting.

"You're welcome." Jayden whispered, too. "Yes. I know, it's just one thing after another, huh?" He mentioned, seeing Grace. He smiled at her and got up. "Grace?" He walked up to her and shook her hand. "Great to finally meet you...though, I wish the circumstances were different." He cast a helpless look at his friends. "I'm Norman, as you can guess. " He chuckled as walked over to sit down. Norman spotted Shaun and smiled. "Hey, buddy." He said in a soothing voice.

"We heard that Ethan is ok" I say with a small smile

"Really? That's great to hear!" Norman broke out into a smile. "Good to know he's feeling better." He scratched his head. "We, uh, have to ask you some things later, maybe when we're not at the hospital?" He laughed a little and placed his arms around Shaun. "How are you, buddy?"

GB laid back down and rolled over, though her ribs hurt too much so she rolled onto her back, staring at the ceiling. She wiped blood off of the corner of her mouth that had formed with her sleeve, looking around at all the crap that was hooked up to her. She wished she could rip it all out and run away, though she was too smart to do that.

A few minutes later, a nurse appeared. "You all can see Ms. Baye now."

Norman got up from his kneeling position and smiled. "Thank you." He said quietly. "Grace, it was nice to meet you, sorry we have to cut it short." Norman waited for Madison to walk past him and he pulled her into him, walking along.

He followed the nurse to a room in the ICU. The nurse nodded and pointed to a door. "She may be sleeping, if so, don't disturb her, she need rest."

Norman gently nodded and cast a pitiful look at the door. He, then, looked at his surroundings. The ICU unit looked as depressing as the weather. He frowned and placed a hand on the door, opening it slightly.

GB jumped when the door was opened. She turned her head to look at whoever was coming in, though she couldn't tell yet because the door was only cracked. She rubbed at her eyes.

With a gentle push, Jayden made his way into the room. Beeping of medical equipment greeted him. He looked around; it was dark and quiet and depressing to the point that Norman thought about turning around and leaving. It was so quiet and isolated in the room, that he thought that Graybay was asleep. Norman quietly made his way to the bed and turned his head to look out the window.

Graybay blinked, watching him wander about her room before finally deciding to speak. "Um, hi." she said, her voice cracking. She was still kind of surprised that he had came to see her. She didn't think anyone would do that for her.
