Me and my friends had a fire and we sang some songs about life, death and the new year and said a few words about it too.
And then we chilled and ate snacks ;)

I love these books. And I definitely recommend then to anyone who is interested in reading them. A bit of a warning though, Faeries has nudity. ;-;

Who is Criss Angel? And anyway, she never said that she thought Harry Potter was real, she just said that she's been to a school of magic like "Harry Potter", if you want to refer to it that way.

I <3 Criss Angel!

My friend found a horrid book in the school library. Nowhere in it does it show the authors name, which is probably a good thing, because whoever wrote it is a thick-headed, closed-minded @$$. He/She writes that Wiccans are horrible "people" that will "burn in the fires of hell" and that Silver Ravenwolf (my favorite author) is a bad person for putting colorful covers on her books, "trying to get kids into the occult and devil worship". They also say things such as "I cringe every time a Christian child picks up a harry potter book". It's truly a stupid piece of "work". The writer even claims to have asked several Wiccans about "the craft", but it's obvious they didn't. Ugh! I mean, I'm totally on board for religious freedom, freedom of speech and having your own opinions, and I bide by the Rede, but seriously, this "person" shouldn't be allowed to talk ever again. I'm just really mad. I'm going to mediate, and do my homework, but I really needed to vent.

Wearing human skin I never chose
I listened to the devil as he spoke
Because he tempted me with a beautiful rose"

"I know I love you but I won't
But I just need something to calm my nerves

Tell you a thing in case you don't
Preferably a cigarette or something just as absurd

I know I miss you, but it's OK
Or maybe I want my anxiety to stay

I don't get depressed when I am lonely
'Cause in the end it's all I have to ease the pain

Of the distance that took you away"

Oh god... Don't you love close minded bigots? I just... Ugh.

On the bright side of my own life right now, I discovered that pone of my new friends a is Wiccan and her mother is as well. They're buying me a pentagram amulet and a triple goddess symbol for my birthday c= I also spent my whole last class writing on my pants in sharpie; I wrote little bit a of spells I remembered, drew several triple goddess symbols, pentagrams, symbols for the elements and wrote some quotes from my favorite books...I love free days.

Ung, a book like that has no place in a school. Are the staff aware of its contents?

I think I've heard of this book before though.. I believe it was widely thought of as, well what you thought, even by some of the people who spout simular garbage.

I apologize that you too have to live with "thumpers". Yes I respect that others have their own religion and beliefs, but shouldn't we get the same respect? I did a report on religion and it's misunderstandings last year to a Christian teacher, needless to say I think she just gave me a 105 A just because she was forced. I asked her if she enjoyed it because my main purpose was to debunk the theories and stereotypes, story short she basically avoided me the entire year...

On a plus side, I found that I am maybe not the only pagan in this town! I have a pagan friend and it's just nice to be able to share your thoughts and feelings to someone who gets an understanding from what you mean. She brought me a bag the other day and turns out it was a old medicine pouch, and inside we discovered a Herkimer Diamond!- a double terminated variation of Quartz. It was so exciting getting to know the stone and it's properties.

Speaking of my own stones I was glad to have uncovered them from the piles of boxes (we just moved into a new home) I found out that my Quartz cluster's name was Melody, she has really high vibrations and seemed to have warmed up to me after months of not interacting with my precious "babies." I am still sadden that I misplaced my Citrine..but I swore I brought it home after my EOC testing, I swear I did!

Now I'm just droning on an on..sorry it's is sooo long, It's just great to be back on this forum again. Things are much better! now onto my main question: Astral Projection. I tried to Astral Project a few nights ago and it was just a weird yet wonderful expierence (Althought I'm sure I did it wrong...) I knew my body was asleep..yet it wasn't.. Like, I know when I'm really asleep, et I wasn't in this. I guess if I did this correctly I was on a wild horse pasture, there was a particular horse I was riding. Not sure what kind but a Black Overo coat, I know that...I could feel like every step it took, the wind, the rush..it was insane! Yet I remember telling myself "I'm probably not doing this right..I'm going to go to sleep now" and my body instantly fell into a real stage of sleep.

ANYWAYYYYYYY LONGGG UPDATE OVERRR.... I'd appreciate help in trying ot strenghten the Astral Projection issue..Thanks!!!
