I've had a really bad today...listening to Otep right now.

Anyways, I'm not going to go into all the details about this epically suckish day but suicide was mentioned a lot. See, my father killed himself when I was five. This isn't and attention grabbing lie or a story for you to pity me with. It's just the truth. It doesn't bother me too much anymore but it did today. First, I heard people in the hallways at school talking about killing themselves. They were only exaggerating but today it just bothered me a little more than usual. And then a book I was reading in class talked about someone's father killing themselves. As if it couldn't get any worse, we talked about being a victim in my last class of the day. I mentioned that people think I'm a victim (which I'm not, I'm a survivor.) so everyone asked why and I had to explain my story to them. And of course, after I got home I broke down and cried. I'm a bit better now. Emotions right now:

I think you have a very fine reason for feeling bad. But don't let this get you down - You should think of the bright side after his death - He went to a better place. In that place he's happy and all the damage is gone. And remeber, they never die - They're body dies, not them. So the real father of yours is with you now, and always. The real person is thier soul. And his spirit is with you. Believe me, I know this. It didn't happen to me, but I have my ways of knowing. <3
