Directly translated from the in the Sindarin language, invented by Tolkien, Aníramorn means 'Greed/Desire Dark(ness)/Black. I chose to use this as a name because Smaug was described as a greedy and powerful dragon who was killed by a black arrow. Thus resulting in "Greed Black" as the Bernikesaurs name. The King beneath the mountains,
The King of carven stone,
The lord of silver fountains
Shall come into his own!
The streams shall run in gladness,
The lakes shall shine and burn,
All sorrow fail and sadness

Meeting The Mountain King
Ear-rupturing roars stormed across the stony plateau, followed by the sound of mighty boulders grinding against each other and the barely audible groans of a straining beast. Fear sliced through the girls heart as she jerked awake, her golden eyes straining to make sense of the sounds as she stared out into the night, her eyes slowly adjusting to the pale light provided by the moon and stars. As it had merely been a dream, the sounds faded. With a sigh the girl lay back down, her lids slowly sinking back into place as sleep washed over the girl, only to be disrupted again by the horrifying sounds. Mumbling under her breath the girl rose from her thin mattress of stuffed straw and began a tentative search for the source of the horrid cacophony.

The great scarlet beast thrashed wildly in its limited space, thick black claws scraped loudly against stone, leaving clumsy
scores in the rocky canyon. Flailing its tail and short limbs frantically the great reptile attempted to turn around only to find that the
narrow canyon was not wide enough to permit the dinosaurs movement. The great brute snapped his massive jaws shut and stood still, his eyes clouding as if thinking of some new way out, or resigning to its slow death of bitter starvation. A Movement above the dinosaurs left shoulder attracted its golden gaze, a human girl stood, slowly making sense of the beasts situation. The reptile knew that humans were both domineering and intuitive. The latter of which might be helpful in such a quagmire.

The chain was wedged between two rocky formations, and had worn the stone around it to prevent its metallic links from moving. The chain itself must have been made from some mysterious alloy or else bound with magic, for its links had not opened under the stress of the moving dinosaur on its other end. The wicked beast had lifted its head and fixated her with a cruel eye, watching her assess everything with an unblinking gaze. The human found it unnerving, but not entirely unpleasant. The great beast that stood before her, held captive by a metal chain and collar, was the first Bernikesaur she had seen on the Mat'huen mountains thus far, and the first ever she had seen wearing such a chain. There wasn't much she could do to free the chain, except force the Bernikesaur to thrash about more until he wore away the stone holding the chain completely, but if she scared or angered the beast it would erase any chance she had of becoming the beasts rider. But another thought occurred to the girl as she looked over the trapped giant. She might not be able to free the beast, but she could make sure it didn't starve before it could struggle its way free.
