The deep cut on the back of Yuki's head slowly stopped bleeding, but that wasn't a good sign...She suddenly struggled to breathe again, this time for good. She shakily and weakly stood up and stumbled over to Shade and licked his cheek warmly. "I-I love you...Sh-Shade..." Then she collapsed and stopped breathing completely- She was dead.

Yara closed his eyes and looked at the ground. "This is all my fault... If it wasn't for me, she wouldn't have run away... She is dead because of me..." He turned away from them all, feeling the guilt like lead in his heart. Tears slid down his face for Yuki, another friend, lost.

Willow flattened her ears. "No, its' my fault. I was trained to save lives, and so far, I'm only managed to loose them."
Karrie wailed mournfully. She laid down next ot Yuki and started cleaning er off, trying to keep her tears off of the body.
Barti shook with fury. In his view, everyone except him was at fault. "You killed my sister!" he screamed at all of them.

I have more blood on my fangs than the whole of the leader's pack... But I keep going. You have to as well. Who knows, nowadays, most don't stay dead for long."

"Yuki's different! She can see Ink again! She probably LIKES it there! I'm not there to bother her anymore!!!" Shade barked. He jumped back in, and a wave swept him far downstream. A lone mutt ran along the riverside. She dragged him out, far from his pack's home.
