"Uh, yeah... A bit..." Haruto said, though he was lying; he wasn't just a bit worried, he was really worried. "Can you see anything?" He asked. "Have your eyes adjusted yet?"

Montgomery looked around again, "I can't see much but I'm starting to see the outline of you," he replied, wrapping his arms around Haruto, "don't worry, I'm here"

Haruto hugged Montgomery and closed his eyes, the darkness starting to make his head hurt. "I can't see anything." He said. "And don't don't think that will change until the lights come back on."

Montgomery hugged him and kissed his forehead, "alright that's ok," he replied, "I can't see much either"

"That's not exactly reassuring." Haruto said. "But it's okay, I'm sure the lights will turn back on soon." Though he wasn't very sure of that, he was mainly saying it to make himself feel better.

Montgomery dropped his head a little, "ah I guess not..." He agreed, "and yeah I'm sure this will only last a while," he said, to try to calm him down

Haruto's head was pounding by now, because he couldn't see anything, it confused his mind into making his head hurt. He squeezed his eyes closed and put a hand to his head, trying to ease the pain a bit. He opened his eyes again and squinted in the darkness, trying to make out a few dark shapes around the room.

Montgomery looked around the room again in the pitch black light. He could hear other people whispering quietly. He held Haruto and rubbed his back trying to calm him down

The teacher had left the room a few moments ago to find out what happened and they just got back. "Alright class, It seems that the power may be out for a while so we won't be able to finished the lesson today, It looks like you all get an early dismissal, but that doesn't mean you get to go off and have fun, It looks like lights out came early today. So go back to your dorms and settle down for the night, the power should be back on in the morning."

Haruto's breath caught in his throat as the teacher said the power wouldn't be on until morning. Go back to the dorms? How are we supposed to find our way back to the dorms in this darkness? He thought nervously.

Montgomery sat for a minute while he listened to the teacher.It's going to be difficult to find our way back in the dark, he thought.
