I groan and lay back, pulling a pillow over my face and my headphones more-or-less covering my ears.

I feel Mason's movement and wake up a little. With a soft sigh, I close my eyes and start to drift between sleep and consciousness.

Mason smiled softly and slowly moved off the bed, careful not to wake her up. He opened his bag, looking for the pack of cigarettes he'd bought before they'd left.

I curl up on the bed, not totally asleep, but not awake either.

I grab my jacket and baseball cap and leave the hotel, wanting to get out for a while. After walking around town for a while, I finally stop at a park and sit down on a bench.

I open my eyes slightly and yawn, stretching. "Whatcha looking for?" I ask sleepily, looking at Mason.
