Mayia looked at Hunter with eyes full of fear. "H-Hunter... We can't fight..." She said quietly. She hated to fight. She never found a reason to and was so use to running and hiding, the thought of a fight brought her close to tears. Hunter looked up at her then at the other girl with narrowed eyes. Mayia stepped back, her hands held tightly together to her chest in tension. Skye felt it was time to step in and dropped from the rooftop and propelled himself off it's wall and towards the three. He lances appeared in a flurry, the light from their power creating a barrier, powered by emotion, and protecting Hunter and Mayia. Skye looked at the girl from within her range. The only thing with his mind was to stop a fight from begining pointlessly as he has many times before. "There is no need to fight here." He said, his voice cold and dark and his gaze sharpening. He only stood there, watching, and made no movement to attack.

Riko snarled, her eyes glowing a dangerous red. She gripped her sword tighter, narrowing her eyes. Someone always has to ruin the fun, she thought sarcastically. Her wings were fully extended, catching the moonlight on her feathered frame. Her hair whipped around her face, she was just getting started. Hissing, she leaped off the ground beating her wings down. Riko jumped into a tree and sprung off a branch, snapping it clean off. In mid-air, she whispered loudly a message; you've just earned yourselves a powerful enemy. Riko knew they had all heard. She crossed several rivers and forests back to her cave- she couldn't risk them finding out where she was staying.

She arrived, shaking off water pellets that clung onto her waterproof wings. She scoured the cave for her precious bundle- Riko searched in vain. It was long gone. She hissed, the theif left no trail or clue that they had been. Snarling angrily, she thrusted her sword into the stone wall. It cut into it, burying down halfway; it was suspended by the sheer force that was used. She breathed out angrily and seated herself cross-legged on the floor, fuming in boiling anger.

Skye had his lances vanish and knelt to Mayia who had fainted. He knew she would refuse staying with him in the forest and respected her wishes. "Hunter. Continue to guard Hikamaru. Do not begin a fight and only howl. I shall respond." He said as he lifted Mayia and lay her against the tree. He had many enemies in which do not presid in this ciy, but they would find him soon enough and, as usual, he would not fight back. Rain began to pour from the heavy clouds and Skye had to return home to tend to his own home. He whistled sharply and Rioku left his post, dashing home as Skye vanished with the wind. Hunter lay with Mayia's unconsious body and curled around her to keep her warm. Mayia's hair was too long to keep dry from this weather.

Skye appeared just by the cabin, Rioku coming up just behind him and padding unto the porch. Skye opened the hatch to the hutch where he kept his livestock. A few vegetables growing just to the side in damp soil. He tended to them in the rain and stayed peaceful with his environment.

Kight skid over a roof and to the ground. Blazer was crowing in fear and cuddled up to Knight while keeping dry. Once they arrived under a ledge, Blazer cooed. "We're in trouble huh?" He chuckled, keeping the water off of Blazer. He looked up at the sky and sighed with a soft smile. It's nice.

It started raining. Riko stood up slowly. Thrusting her hand out, she grabbed the hilt of her sword and pulled sharply. It came out, small cracks emitting from the centre cut. The soft patter of rain was soothing; Riko shut her eyes and walked towards the edge of the cave. Her eyes were still glowing, but not as strong as it had been. She jumped off, the cave ledge cracking under the immense pressure. She threw her wings back, catching the drops on her face. They trickled down her cheeks, like tears. Scowling, she flew up in the air and into an aged oak that she normally slept in for the nights. She decided to see the Master tomorrow.

Alexa stood up, frowning at the rain. Stepping out, she waited under the red satin awning in the front of the door. The shops were closed so she didn't have a chance to buy an umbrella. Sighing, she sat down at on quaint cafe metal chair, resting her arms on the table with a expression of boredom.

Once Skye had finished his duties he left for town to check on those who did live on the streets. While he walked up the path, he noticed the girl from the meadow, watching the rain fall. He walked to her, not coming under the awning and bowed his head a bit. "Excuse me, Madam. Are you in need of assistance?" He asked as a courtesy, the rain coming down a bit hard. It was a cold rain, but Skye didn't mind.

Hunter's coat was still shining. He was full of power now, but still had to stay by Mayia. He barked, facing the sky and a ring of light burst from his mouth and into the sky.

Akane looked up, letting her arms fall onto the table. "Erm-m. Do you possibly have an umbrella I could borrow?" She was surprised to find him out in the rain, especially when moments ago she had seen him in the meadow. He was dripping wet and looking quiet cold. Akane hid a shiver, rubbing her arms warmer. Little goosebumps had appeared on her arm and her breath was white against the air.

Riko was just about to go to sleep until a bright beam of light caught her eye. Sitting up alittle straight, she focused on the point; it had been from earlier in the night. Narrowing her eyes, she ignored it and burrowed into a massive hole in the trunk. It was big enough to fit her small frame and still be comfortable- atleast it provided shelter from the rain. She let her anger simmer and whilst she slept, she changed back into her human form unconsciously.

Skye shook his head and untied his cloak from his shoulders and placed it around the girl's shoulder. "But you look rather cold. This weather is nothing to let by so loosely." He said, turning and leaning against the wall. The ater dripping off his hat. Not a single puff of vapor coming from his lips, just the sound of rain pelting against his hat while hid his eyes. His white hair didn't seem to be effected by the rain at all however. This was just natural for him.

Hunter whimpered a bit at Mayia's sdden heavy breathing. He took her on his back and dashed towards some shelter, just under the entrance of a nick-knack store's entrance. It was closed, so thre was no worry of getting his by the door. At least it was dry. Hunter lay Mayia by the door against the wall and ly just under her, his back as her pillow, but his pelt still shining.

Akane accepted the cloak gratefully, standing up with a flourish. "Thankyou." She said kindly, smiling at the stranger who helped her. She turned the hood up, hiding most of her face and her honey hair. "Are you going anywhere? And are you cold?" Akane shook a few drops of water from the cloak, watching them patter onto the paved ground. One of the drops started to grow bigger; as if it was turning into a water ball. Akane shook herself awake, breaking the link. The raindrop merely fell onto the ground.

Skye shook his head. "I merely roam the streets and stay for those who may need me." He said, holding his hat to his head with his gloved hand [the left] as the wind blew a bit. "So I assume you wish to invite me to accompany you, correct?" He asked, turning his head slightly to reveal his naturally piercing, cold and soulless eyes as he looked at her.

Akane stopped herself before she shrugged. "If you wish; my parents won't be at home today, but I can cook?" She replied, avoiding the gaze of his eyes with a smile. She stepped out of the awning and into the rain. The water spilled down from the clouds, she lifted one of her hands to catch a drop. It landed perfectly on her fingertip; she blew at it, marvelling when it left. She breathed deeply, letting her body become warmer with the cloak.

James made a nest for the dragon with a assortment of old clothes. He put it on the bedside desk and blew out a candle; the dragon snorted and curled up into a loose ball. Angel jumped onto his bed, resting with her head on her paws, facing the door. The house was silent, only the tiny snores of the dragon could be heard.
