Defend your Clan, even with your life.
Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger.
The word of the Clan Leader is the warrior code.
An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

Medicine cats may not have a mate or kits.
Kits must stay in camp until they are apprenticed,[9] and are not allowed to hunt.
The safety of the Clan is more important than the safety of one cat.

"My name is Wrenchest and I am a proud warrior of mapleclan. That is all you need to know. How loyal I am. It really is all that matters in the end, whose side are you one? Me, I am on my side. Is there really a wrong and a right? You want to know more? Fine. I am 26 moons and obviously a she cat. Could I be a tom? Look at me! I am a warrior, as I said before. Umm, that pretty much sums it up! Wait. You need to hear my story. Growing up in Mapleclan for me was hard, I was a kitty pet that lost it's way and was found by a border patrol. That is why I am so strict about loyalties. I had to prove myself, and it was hard. I had to prove that I was as good as those with warrior blood.It was especially hard for the other apprentices because I seemed to excel at everything, not to brag. They sneered at me and shouted insults at me. I did not have any friends. I got to prove myself when my mentor and I went on a patrol and we found a badger.My mentor told me to stay back, but the badger took her down with the swipe of one paw. It was up to me, I had two options, run back to the clan and get warriors, or fight him off myself. I chose what most apprentices would not do, since I don't have bee's in my brain. I ran back to the camp as fast as I could and the leader and deputy created a patrol. Most of the senior warriors, and the medicine cat for my mentor. I led the patrol as I was the only one who knew where it was.The badger was defeated but my mentor was never the same again.Her Her rib cage broke and she did not survive.I mourned her death but I moved on, just as any good warrior should. I got my warrior name, wrenchest, and was content. My personality? wow, you want to know a lot! Well, I like to think that I am a loyal she cat with a sense of humor.

Description ; ;Applefang has a reddish pelt, resulting in the name Applepaw. Her feet and tail have stripes that are the same red color. Her features seem sharp, like she is concentrating on one certain thing, but she really isn't. She is hardly ever on task actually. Applepaw has a very short tail, resulting in her being very off balance. Therefore, one of her strengths is not climbing trees.
Personality ; ;Applepaw is a gentle, vain she cat. She does not know she is vain, but she will spend numerous hours grooming her pelt. Applepaw is a very social cat. And loves to annoy people, it is not fun though, she feels, if she does not do it with someone else. She can laugh all day, and is not really afraid if she gets in trouble or not.
History ; ;Ginger woke up in the small nest her mother had made for her. She yawned, looking around for her mother. She couldnt see her mother, and her yawn was cut short, replaced by whimpers of worry. The small kit, barely even 3 moons, was very afraid. She waited until moon high, she was just about to get up and go look for her mother when she heard yowls of pain. She ran in the direction of the yowls, arriving just in time to see her mother get killed by the badger. "No!" she squeaked, but the small kit had a brain. Ginger hid behind a shrub until the badger had stomped off, when she reached her mother, her last words were being spoken..."find cats to care for you...I love-" Her mother gasped one more time and her eyes rolled back into the top of her heads. "No!", she screamed. "No!", the hungry kit taught herself how to hunt, not very well though. The only things she could catch were either young or old squirrels, most of the old ones were half dead anyway. She finally came to the boudaries of Cedarclan, ignoring the scent marks, the she cat found a nice bush, and lay down in it. The next thing she knew, the skinny she cat was being stuffed with food, more than she had had in a long time. She was then being asked questions by the clan leader. "What is your name?" she had been asked. "Ginger", she said. The she cat fell asleep shortly afterward. The next day, she was given her name Applekit, and was officially brought into the clan.
