"I could." Jayden said, biting back his words, putting his hands on his hips. "But what can he do now?" He asked. "I suppose it would be best..." He said, hesitantly getting out his phone. He excused himself out to his car one more time. "Blake?"

"What!" Came the irritated, screaming voice on the other end of the phone.

"Geez! Someone deserved the Lion." Jayden teased, smirking. "Hey, listen...you think you guys can come down here to Grace's house?" He put his hands on the steering wheel. "Maybe it'll help you."

"How would it help me!"

"Well," he shifted his feet, "it can get you out of the office, ya know, doing something productive...not sitting there worrying."

"I...fine!" was the answer Jayden got before returning to the group. "He's on his way." Norman whispered as he past Zayden.

"I...fine!" Blake hung up his phone in agony as he turned to his shadow. "Alright, change of plans: We're now going over to Grace's." He told her. "Come on!" He walked over to his car, unlocked it, and crawled in, honking the horn impatiently. "Come on!" He yelled, punching the horn.

Graybay followed him out to his car, desperately trying to keep up. "I'm coming!" she shouted back, frowning. No wonder Jayden got fed up with this guy. She hastily climbed into the passenger side, buckling up. "Who's Grace?" she asked curiously, although in truth she knew who she was.

Zayden nodded understandingly. He groaned, leaning on the wall of the house. "This is so messed up," he muttered under his breath, looking up at the grey sky.

Carter flicked his eye to his passenger as they were pulling out of the parking lot. "Um, Grace is Ethan's ex wife." He explained. "Norman and the others were starting to question her when all of this happened." He took a deep breath and smiled. "Everything is going to be alright, don't worry...we'll catch whoever this is." He said with a smirk.

Norman rolled his eyes. "Great...Blake..." He then walked over to the girls as if nothing had happened. He hesitantly knocked on Grace's door again, hoping she was there and sighing.

Graybay nodded, looking out of the window and observing everything they passed by, trying to remember exactly which route they took to get to Grace's house. "Oh. I wonder what she'll have to say," she said, actually telling the truth this time. She didn't know a lot about Grace.

"Yeah, she's pretty nice." Carter noted, turning onto another road. "I was convinced that her husband--" he then looked at GB, "Maybe I should keep my mouth shut." He chuckled, staring at the road ahead of them. "Who could have done this? " he wondered, turning onto the road to Grace's house.

GB blinked and looked over at him, raising an eyebrow. She didn't press the issue any further, but she did have an idea of what he was about to say. She looked up at the house they were approaching. "So this is her house?" she asked.

"Yeah..." Carte replied, clearly distracted by the matter at hand. He smiled. "Nice, huh?" He parked on the side of the road. Their driveway was already filled up with the others cars. "And there they are." Carter said as he poked his head out the window. He opened his door and the lieutenant made his way trotting over to the others. Jayden was leaning up against the house, next to Zayden, whispering something.

"Hey, Jayden!" He shouted. "Guess who?"

"Oh," Norman said, reluctantly getting up, sticking his hands in his coat pocket. "Hey, Blake..."

"Well, don't sound so enthusiastic." Blake smirked, waving his hands.

Graybay followed Carter out of the car like she was literally his shadow. She looked around, her hands in her pockets. "This is a really nice house!" she cried, beginning to run circles in the yard.

Zayden glanced over at GB before looking back to Carter, nodding as a hello. "Not to be so straight and to the point so soon, but do you know anything else about what happened back at your office other than what you've told us?" he asked, feeling antsy.
