~*Kay Kay*~ - I was here back then but just never signed up when we were able too. Though I did stalk the forums for a while and still adopted pets before I joined.

I did too for a while, but I decided to join after a few days of stalking people-I mean the forums... =P

I remember not knowing any kind of rarities unless you looked at Solloby's sp? list of rarities.

Oh ya, I often let people adopt rare pets cause I didn't know better. Then agian I was wondering why my adopting post got so many people on it...

Also, I remember the April Xat Chat from 2009. It was SO much fun. Though, CS was super laggy before April due to too many people. Then, Tess & Nick gifted us with a taste of a faster server. It was heaven.

I remember when Nick was thenickdude, I was a stupid n00b, username changes were done by Nick, and Spotty's art shop was so much different then it is now. (I thought she'd never get every Dog, and that her art used to not be as awesome as it is now)

I remember the old Pound system and kinda 'conjuring up' the first drafts of my Fursona.

The only reason that I remember the old layout is because of the old Archive. Other than that, I just can't seem to get the picture in my head.

Does anybody remember the chatboxes? I went on once, but I don't really remember what happened. Oh, and I also remember when ChickenSmoothie was slower than dial-up. X3 I think that's why I never played much until September '09.

I'd forgotten that! In hindsight, that'll be the reason I only ever had about 2 pets from those months (I didn't start collecting pets properly until ~ december 09)

I remember when there was no account system, so you had to bookmark each pet's page or save the codes somewhere.

I remember how we use to have only 2 layout options, and I always used the alt one. (now I alternate between Halloween & X-Mas)

I remember when we had International Mods & before Ricorn, Compumon, & Atwood were mods. Before we had newbie helpers.

I remember my elation over the April Gear litter and the Gear 2nd gen. I was REALLY thrilled over those.

I also recall being sad over no Zombie PPS GUPPS.

Oh I won't forget the one pet at a time deal. When pets started growing, it was a pain! With the slower server, each pet would take a few mins to grow. It may have taken an hour to see if you missed an outcome.
