Kacey smiled a little, catching up to him. "I'm not going to run, I'd rather not make it to school early" She said, her smile fading away, but it left a happy brightness in her eyes. "You can go up to the front of the school and count how many seconds it takes me to walk there" She said sarcastically, though she did pick up speed into a kind of speed walk. She looked up at him from just under the edge of the umbrella. She wanted today to get nicer, but it was raining so that was a bit of a disappointment. "Okay come on" she said. Now she was practically running down the sidewalk, but it wasn't your typical run, she didn't really lift her feet, she kind of slid them down the sidewalk.

............ Luka's eyes held disappointment in them, but then that emotion changed into a competative one. ''You got it kid.'' He said, taking off, going past her. He smiled and coasted a was down the sidewalk, getting closer to the school. He jumped over a branch before skating paster down the sidewalk. ''Hurry up! I'll wait for you at the entrance. Be quick about it!'' He yelled over his shoulder ducking down and going towards the school.

When he got there, he stopped and jumped off his skateboard, picking it up. He looked at his old friends, casting them a glare. They grinned at him and walked over. ''Hey, I thought you said you weren't talking to that picture taking freak.'' The taller of the three boys, said to him, folding his arms across his chest. Luka looked away with a snort. ''None of your buisness. Buzz off.'' He retorted, yawning at them. The kid laughed, patting him on the shoulder. ''Come on, give it up. She's nothin' but a freak. And freaks need to be dealt with.'' He said, the core lighting in his eyes.

Luka laughed cold-heartedly, extinguishing his fire. ''Yeah, keep dreaming kid. You ain't gonna win me over. Nice try.'' He said, Shrugging him off and giving him the cold shoulder. Walking towards the entrance of the school, he waited for the girl. Ignoring the whispers and gossip from people behind him.

Kacey was quick to catch up to you. She had no expression as she walked up to the school, she just glared at the dumb ones who try to make it obvious about them talking about her. As she walked past them she kept her shoulder held straight with good posture, her eyes fallowing them as she walked past and then snapping back at you. One of them said something out loud. Kacey simply rolled her eyes, she could pretend she didn't care, but honestly it was pretty mean. She was tempted to turn around and tell them all to screw off, but that would show them that they were bothering her and they'd continue. Kacey walked ahead of you towards the door expressionlessly, she'd seen he told one to leave him alone, she'd thank him sometime they weren't all watching her like a hawk.

............ luka watched her closely, grinning when she just walked by. he'd be sure to knock out some other people's teeth for her whenever she gave the word. but now didn't seem to be the time. he sighed and looked at her, before falling into step and holding the door open for her. after she had walked inside, he followed behind, not looking at his friends who gave him nasty glares. he sighed and looked at her, almost sympathetically, before walking ahead of her. "so... where are you off to. school's only got 4 hours of classes. hour each." he said, stopping to look at her.

Kacey nodded her head in thanks as she walked past him while he held the door open, looking up at him, then over her shoulder at the front door. She had closed her umbrella outside but was still attempting to buckle it closed with one hand while walking. "Physical Education" she said. "What class you do have?" She heard the click of the snap and looked back down at the umbrella and put it in her bag collectively. She retrieved an elastic from her bag and put her hair in a low ponytail quickly but neatly. She glare at a taller boy who said something in a low voice to a girl standing beside him, she looked ahead when the girl laughed.

............ luka nodded before watching her closely. He couldn't help but growl towards the two Kids, when the girl laughed. Getting them to walk away, quickly. He cut it off just as fast as I sounded it, and shoved his hands into his jeans pockets. ''Nice. I get science first.'' I muttered, fixing my hair. ''At the end of the day, i get gym. I hope the rain clears. I wanna play soccer.'' I added, smirking and taking off my hood.

Kacey slowly was increasing the speed of her walking, she didn't want to be put on the spot for being late. "Are you on the soccer team?" She asked, she was going to add just curious before but it wouldn't make any sense now. While she waited for an answer she remembered neither of them knew each others names. It would be very awkward if the talked again and had to start their conversations with 'hey you' or something. Kacey figured she would ask later.

............luka laughed for a few minuets. "am i? is that a trick question?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at her. his laugh went down to a chuckle. "to answer your question, yes. i am on the soccer team. and to be honest. there won't be practice tonight if the rain doesn't let up." he muttered, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. he let that slide before looked at her almost in apology. "whoops, this completely slipped my mind. with me being so busy, i never caught your name." he started, almost blushing, but it wasn't there. "i'm aleighandro." he said cheerfully. but then his face became serious. "but do call me luka." he added, keeping that straight face. "what's your's miss?" he asked, keeping pace with her almost effortlessly.

Kacey looked up at him with his name. She thought it was cool, unique, like nothing she'd heard before, but she thought it was pretty awesome to have interesting names, unlike Fred or Bob or something. "My name is Casiline, but I'd very much prefer if you called be Kacey" Kacey pronounced her name an unusual way, a way no one at this school would imagine pronouncing it, but she said Kacey normally. Kacey felt a little sorry for him, being unable to play soccer just because of the weather. If the weather knew what was going onto today it would probably would have cooperated, she thought, even though she knew it was impossible.

" nice unoriginal. i like it." he said, pulling on his shades and looking away from her for the moment of silence. he smiled when the announcements were over, before turning. "late to class again. oh well. i hope he won't mind if i said i was giving the new kid a grand tour of the place." he muttered, tipping his glasses down at her and shooting her a wink before walking towards the classroom. "catch ya later Casiline. and give me a holler if the mean kids decide to make you their target. i'll keep them away." i said over my shoulder, neither quickening or slowing my pace as i wen't towards my first class, and my second worst subject. his first hated and worst subject is math, second comes science. then his all-time passing subjects are social studies and gym, and lets just say, his charm comes into play when it comes to beating the girls at any athletic sport. same with wining over his favorite social studies teacher ( it's a girl by the way ).
