Keira Raven Foster
16 | Female | Fox
Keira smiled slightly as she heard a reply, heading in the direction it had came from. Soon, she reached Laurline. "Hey, you okay?" She asked, worry evident in her features. She din't really have any clue what else to say, she'd never been good in these sorts of situations.
`Twas brillig,
and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Laurline
Laurline heard Keira approach her. "Yeah. Kind of. Not really." She mumbled. "The sooner I figure out how to control my powers, the sooner I become more social. I'm not sick; no worries." She added. Laurline stayed in the shadows, but she was feeling better. That was ridiculous. They have powers too. Why am I so ashamed of my abilities when they have to deal with its randomness as well?
I'm back, and better than before! (Or at least, I do hope so) Feel free to ask me questions, commissions are closed, and I'm really sorry to the few of you who requested them before I left. (Meaning the ones I never finished. Seriously, that was horrible of me. Sorry.)

"My abilities are kind of the reason I exercise so much," Keira admitted. "I find that if you're in better shape, you're not as restless and you have a distraction; it helps you control your powers better." She shrugged. "I remember I once turned full fox for a week straight with no clue how to turn back. I ended up being chased off the street and ended up turning back. Plus deep breathing helps too." She didn't know if her technique worked on everyone or just her. "Maybe you just need a distraction?"

Matthew's watched quietly as Laurline ran out, but he wasn't going to involve himself in her personal problems. He looked back to Key and Jasper. He listened closely, wanting to get to know them just by observation. Matthew decided to move from his uncomfortable by the wall and sat down quietly beside Jasper. "I'm Matthew, by the way." He felt weird jumping into a conversation.

Laurline
Laurline nearly cried out with frustration. "Ugh... this has happened numerous times. The last time, I was joking around with some of my fostered 'siblings', and suddenly they freaked out and ran off. It took 6 days for my wings to retract, and by then, I was already being relocated..." Laurline groaned. "I understand that everyone here dealt with these problems one time or another, but I can't bear to see the look on people's faces when it happens."

"We're all freaks," Keira said. "There's no need to be embarrassed because of a little loss of control. Nobody here will judge you because of it. To be honest, I think I'm probably one of the lucky few who can manage it properly. We're here so that we can learn to control it without having to hide."
