Lizzie gently laughed. "Would you rather I sing to you, my dear?"

"Si deus me relinquit Ego deum relinquo Solus oppressus nigram clavem habere potest Omnias ianuas praecludo Sic omnias precationes obsigno Sed Qui me defendet? Ab me terribilissimo ipse."

"ah......"Ciel sighed."Don't sing to me in Latin..."

Lizzie sighed and gave Ciel a serious look. "You need to rest. Don't argue with me."
She traced Ciel's cheekbone softly with her finger and started to hum the tune of the song.

Ciel drifted softly to sleep.*SNORE*

Lizzie smiled and layed down next to him. She shut her eyes, but did not fall asleep. Instantely, the image of Ciel's last , proper smile appeared. It was before his parents died, she, him and his mother were playing in the garden together. In her mind, he turned to her, and gave her a huge smile. That was his final smile.

Lizzie opened her eyes and got up. She leant over Ciel's face, gently lifted up his fringe, and kissed him on the forehead. She began to talk to him.

"Ciel...are you ever gonna get your smile back? Since your parents died, I've tried desperately to make you smile. It's making me miserable. Since they've gone, you've lost your ability to cry, your ability to smile. All you do is want to be alone, all you ever feel is hatred and anger. Every time I try to play with you, you tell me you have work to do. I don't like it. I know you can't hear me, but please Ciel...please, I want all of that to return to you."

Lizzie stood up and walked to where the door was before. "Ugh, this room is a mess". She cleaned up the wood, and put it all it to a neat pile and then saw something. Claude had left the sponges and disinfectant up here. She grabbed the bucket, and got to work on the bloodstains, scrubbing them from the floor.

Claude walked in with a set of tea."Tea,Miss Middleford?"

Lizzie looked up from scrubbing.
"Yes please! I hope yours is better than Sebastian's! I'm sorry about earlier...are you hurt? It's hard for me to get used to change, that's all. And please, call me Lizzie, or Elizabeth or something. Miss Middleford sounds weird."
Lizzie went back to scrubbing the floor.

"Yes,Miss Elizabeth."Claude said and poured a cup of tea, and gave it to her.

"Thank you...so your hurt? I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to, I just lost it, that's all! Can I ask you a favor? Will you please move Ciel to a more cleaner part of the floor while I finish cleaning up his blood"

His blood. Lizzie turned to Claude and said "If I had left the bathroom when he asked and promised he wasn't going to ruin my eye, this would have never have happened. I should of never come!"
She hang her head in shame, sipped her tea, and continued cleaning.

Claude began to pick up Ciel.But then he looked at at his blood stained glove,and tasted it.He smiled.
