;;Fable/Fae;;
"O - kaaay, have a nice ... sleep?" what's he been up to? she thought to herself, he looks shattered... she grabbed a blanket from the other sofa and tossed it onto the sleeping boy, before leaving the room. She dragged herself up the stairs, tripping over Skye as she went, and stumbled into her bedroom. Whilst in the forest Fable had picked up some feathers to decorate her room with, she sat down on the edge of her bed and started to tie the feathers on to some sting. she let the feathers dangle down from their shafts and pined them above the door, she wanted the place to feel like home. Fae scanned the room, she had the feathers above the door and a handful of flowers she had dumped in a jug this morning. It wasn't home.
Fable changed into some shorts and a small, baggy t-shirt, before dumping her pack at the door and skipping down the stairs. She took the path she had taken earlier and walked down in the reserve, Azure took the lead and led them back to the forest. Once there Fae scanned the woods for bright things - deep red berries, vibrant green leaves, deep blue petals - anything with a really intense colour. She gathered all the objects and hurried back into her room upstairs, after taking a slight detour round the back to get a bundle of paper.
Fae lay all the items on the carpet and set about crushing them in bowls to make a sort of dye, and used thorns to tie the paper together making one big sheet. She sat and painted for a couple of hours, with Azure watching constantly from her little hammock in the roof. It was finally finished - Fable stood back to admire her work, if she had to say so herself she thought it looked quite good. It was a picture of her bedroom wall with a giant crack in it, in the crack was a beautiful forest full of glimmering trees and speckles of sunlight. THAT was home. Fable had spent nearly all her life in the forest, sleeping in trees whenever possible - just because she liked being outdoors. She pinned it onto the wall and collapsed onto her bed, with Skye curled up at her feet as she nestled under the covers to sleep.
