Maji Panya's are small creature's, average height being around 6 inches, that have adapted to their habitat. They live on the islands of Hawaii, living near bodies of fresh and salt water. They are mammals but have gills too, meaning they can live underwater for very long periods of time. Maji's are omnivores, their diet consisting of berries, insects, fruits, but mostly, fish. They have fin like attachments all over their bodies that help with swimming. These creatures are very territorial, fending off any other Maji's with their sharp claws and teeth.

Reason for name: It means "from the sea" in Hawaii.
Gender: Female
Background Kai's family abandoned her when she was barely able to catch food for herself. She had to watch other Majis to learn how to live. The only thing that kept her from getting eaten by predators is her coloring. Her fur is the color of the sea, so all she had to do is hide in underwater caves and slowly swim up when she needed food and air. It also helped with food. The fish could only see her when it was to late. Soon she grew up to be one of the best hunters in the sea.
