Tempest touches his cheek with her nose and then stands, shaking her pelt out, then stopping and waiting for him. "Lets have some fun." the she-wolf says softly. She almost wants to ask him to show her how he would fly, for the sake of her curiousity, but doesnt. Why? Because she feels like i would be rude, and...strange. Gone is the flirty, carefree wolf, now a clone who looks like her but isnt stands here. She returns the ruined flower to behind her ear.

"Pyro now." says James with wide, huge eyes. He is very surprised, "Teach Pyro Wolf-speak? James village words?" very excited now. They could learn faster, together, and be able to communicate easier. Fidgity he asks the questions in Lupine as well, hardly waiting for an answer before he is chattering excitedly -switching between the two languages without thought. He is trying to communicate with both of them at the same time.

Dumah was quiet, until Shadow Demon asked her a question. The Taken Child gave a single shrug of her shoulders, "I don't know, not really. You know that Shadow and Storm are merging the packs, but I think Shadow may have told Tempest about it, and she's probably upset about not being told sooner, but I'm not sure. Dusk and Fire don't know much, since they didn't really leave me very often. But Pyro is learning Lupine, and Storm wants to take him as his Joined son, I suppose." she spoke easily, although she wasn't very sure of what she was saying. "I don't think Pyro will stay with Storm very long. He doesn't like the concept of having a father. He told me so." she gave a matter-of-fact nod, and then leaned against Shadow Demon's neck slightly, loosing one hand and idly brushing her hand along her neck as they moved along.

Cass withdrew his wing once he felt her begin to rise, and he shifted so that he stood on all fours. He dipped into a bow, wings spreading out widely out to his sides, as he stretched, and then straightened, tucking his wings against himself once more, padding toward Tempest. The golden wolf tilts his head to the side, idly studying her aura. It was weird. It was like a shell, with little to no flavor or scent to it at all.

Pyro looks up when he hears his name, and the flurry of words and guttural wolf-sounds that James emitted was honestly confusing and beginning to hurt his head. He hears his mother respond, once in English, and then again in Lupine, to allow James to understand her words better. "I suppose that I can teach you both. But it will have to be tomorrow. Pyro," she shot a look at him, "needs to sleep. You may stay in the guest room if you like, or simply return here after the sun rises." Pyro narrowed his eyes at his mother, though it wasn't in an angry or upset manner, more so that he was studying her. "Alright," he states in English, casting a sideways glance to James, "If you stay, I can show you the room." he tells him, hearing his mother repeat his words in Lupine to James.

"Joining packs?" She inquired. "Should I be worried about that? Normally when they join its to wage ware upon something. Or to strengthen the bloodlines" Arriving at the cave awhile later, she stopped right inside it and waited for Dumah to get off her. "Where do you want to sleep? Out here, or in my personal den?" She questioned.

Dumah tilted her head slightly to the side as Shadow Demon spoke. "No, I don't think so. I think Shadow was to court Tempest, Storm's sister, in return for Storm becoming our Beta and Tempest being our Alphess alongside Shadow." As she spoke, she dismounted, and finished with, "But Shadow and Storm didn't tell her about the whole plan, so she's probably mad." with a short nod, she cast a glance to the doe that shifted to wolf form and padded inside, turning and disappearing into one of the little alcoves inside the cave. At Shadow Demon's question, she looked over at her, and then said, "Out here, I think." She had paused, only briefly, after 'here', but she had finished with a tiny smile and a small nod.

James shakes his head in a no-way motion. He isnt sure what she is talking about, even though she is talking in the language to which he is very familliar. The Joined peers at Pyro, his eyes uncertain. "What mean room? Like den?" a pause as he considers, "I stay..small time...see." a grin, when he is sure he has said what he wants to say propperly. Or rather...semi-propperly. Excitement lightens his face in a 'beam' of joy.

Tempest peers at him, "You look confused. What are you thinking of Cass?" she asks, noting his 'scenting' face. She cant help but to be uber excited that she still has time to be Herself and not the Alpha she-wolf of a newly joint pack. Of organizing and tending and hiding who she is. Happy to have a friend. A rush of warmth infuses her features, but she doesnt say 'You are my best friend!' its a given.

"That works for me" She said as she shifted to her wolf form "Often I sleep here, and look upon the stars" Padding over to a pile of furs she layed down on it and waited for Dumah to curl up with her "Come child. I shall keep them at bay. Just make yourself comfortable" She said softly as she pulled out one fur for her to cover herself with.

Cass straightened abruptly, ears flicking back and then forward again. "Oh, it's nothing. You're aura's just a little different than I'm used to." he says, padding forward, adjusting his wings against himself once more. The golden wolf was abruptly overwhelmed with the scent of peaches, so much so that he actually stepped back, snorting toward the ground. "Wow," he said after a moment, lifting his head and recomposing himself. "When you're happy, you're really happy." he gave a chuckle as his violet gaze shifted back to Tempest.

Pyro pursed his lips and a considerate manner, and gave a nod, "Yes, like a den." he says, after a moment's consideration. He made a gesture with his head for the Joined to follow him as he slipped past his mother, and padded up the stairs, pausing at the top to wait for James. Once he was sure James would be alright with the stairs, he continued down the hall, pushing the door to his own room open, and going to the next one down, opening it.

Dumah followed after Shadow Demon, to the pile of furs. At her words, the Taken Girl silently lowered herself onto the pile, next to the alphess. She was rather tired, and she was glad to be here, with the golden-eyed wolf. She took the fur that Shadow Demon had pulled out, obviously for her, and drew it over herself, letting her light brown eyes fall closed.

cuddling around her, Shadow Demon softly cooed to some darklings, causing them to rise from the floor, and meld together, making a circle around them that slowly built up so it covered them in a dome. It was much like the one she put across the cave entrance to keep out the night terror, but this one was simply to put Dumah in a space where there was no dreams. Just blessed silence.

James stares at the Stairs in surprise, turning his head to the sides to look at it. "How?" he asks. The young Joined tentatively places his foot on the second stair, expecting it to fall when he puts his other foot on. When it doesnt he bolts up the stairs, staring at his feet-- and runs into Pyro, landing on his back, hanging down the stairs. Screaming in terror, he springs behind Pyro, gripping him in powerful arms as if he can protect him.

"Whats that supposed to mean?!" demands Tempest Brewing curiously. She is confused, not only by his words, lack of explaination and facial expressions but by his reactions. He is...strange, foriegn to her. "I am afraid I dont understand what you mean. Can you please explain?" the trip to the river is forgotten as she stops, sits and stares at him with wide eyes and perked ears - waiting for a responce.

Cass sat, curling his tail around his paws, "Well, at first, it was, dry -- scentless, flavorless -- which was why it was different. You usually smell like vanilla. Happiness, it smells and tastes like peaches. Peaches have a strong scent on their own, but when your aura changed, from nothing to the scent of an entire bushel of ripe, peeled peaches, it was incredibly overwhelming." he explained, almost shyly. It wasn't a normal occurrence for him to have to explain his ability, since in his previous pack, with his brother and his mate who also wanted to be Cass's mate, almost everyone knew what the scents that Saturn muttered or reacted to were when he came into contact with other wolves.

Pyro was thoroughly surprised when he heard James come up the stairs -- sounding terrified, mind you -- and was even more so when he felt James' arms around him. He spluttered in his surprise, eyes opening wide, awkwardly lifting a hand to pat the male's arm in a comforting manner. He looked up in time to see his mother come up the stairs, speak soothing words to James in the Lupine language, but Pyro was feeling a bit claustrophobic. "Uh, James," he said, "Could you, uh," His mother, understanding, spoke again, telling the Joined that he needed to release Pyro, sounding a little worried.
