I was kind of expecting it to be duck lines too, xD But it's still great!

The yellow tip on the head is too cute. I love the duck! Great job! But I'm still confused which species its based on, mallard?
Hahaha she's too cute to hate <3333
This probley bothers me way more than it should that this FEMALE chickens coloring is based off of the MALE mallard duck. :I
I was expecting this one to at least be on the ROOSTER lines...not the hen.
The coloring on it is nice, but I do agree with it being awkward on a hen instead of a rooster. I thought it was going to be on rooster lines also. =P
Also, missed the ferret from tonight. lol

i do wish for tomorrow, though
I agree!! And I am wondering whether there is going to be two outcomes for the different beta lines! And I really want them to grow so I can find out XD

it seems male mallards are like the hen above, while females are more of a brownish colour, i searched it up, lol
Mallards are male wild ducks =3 The brown ones are female, yes.
Mallards aren't male wild ducks; they are simply a breed of duck, both domestic and wild. I've had lots of experience with all types of ducks. Like the others have been saying, they are a breed, with the male having a greener head and the female have a flat base of feathers...
Oh okay, I've just always called male ducks "mallards", I guess my translation went wrong somewhere^^
BUT fact is, that design is a male duck not female. I know that much.

Yes, I based this one on a male mallard. The reason it is on the female chicken lines is because I was not even going to attempt a line edit of that magnitude to make the chickens proper ducks, and ducks don't have long tails like roosters. It made more sense to me to use the tail that looked more like a duck than to have the correct gender of the lines. Even without edits, I wanted them to look somewhat duck-like.

That's a really fair point. I actually really like it on the hen lines and I really do agree that it wouldn't look as duck like with a tail
