The blue merle aussie female kept crying into her lifeless mate. She knew he was gone. But did she want to believe it? Echo lifted her head, listening to Red`s howl, and she responded with a sorrowful, needey, call for help, half responding to Red. Her heart was aching, why had Remi just left her? A smile laid on his body, and tears poured out of her eyes, and down her cheeks. She had lost half of her heart. Now who would make it whole? Echo laid by her mate, cuddling into his back, and falling asleep.

"Oh..." he began, "I'm so sorry." he said, for Raider. Not her ex. He didn't know what to say, and he began to shuffle his feet back and forth not knowing what else to do. "Well.. I'm sorry we got off at a rough start, but Autumn wasn't right." he continued. Raider was probably still mad at him, but he couldn't stop her from being mad. "I'm sorry." he finally said, and looked up at her. 'for what I did...' he thought. But he didn't say it, he couldn't. Looking at Raider, he alos heard the forest noises. He heard another dog, he got nervous. "W-we better get out of here, where can we go that is safe?" he asked Raider, he didn't want her to be hurt. He didn't want to lose another friend, he just couldn't. He saw a barn, "We better hurry.." he said as he heard it again, and ran for the barn. It was not to far, but he looked back and raider wasn't coming. So he stopped and waited for her to come, not wanting to lose her back there.
