Show name: Atsila Awinita
Personality: Atsila Awinita means "Fire Fawn", which is a smart name for this young girl. Her spirit and attitude makes her difficult to keep up with, she does what she wants. Though she is outspoken and stubborn, she is playful and sweet, but a ticking time bomb, if she gets angry she isolates herself or nips at whatever is irritating her. Fire tends to be a loner but does enjoy the company of others if she wants it. She is "soft-mouthed" and won't bite out of spite, she just nips, sometimes too hard but she doesn't mean it. Fire Fawn enjoys winter and colder months, we don't know why, but she does. It may be because she enjoys being by the fires but it could also have something to do with her name, like that myth about naming an animal after something they act or like it.. She's fond of roasted marshmallows, but she doesn't get them often, just when we have fires and someone slips her one.
Art(short story, sketch, poem, etc.): The snow fell in uneven patterns across the sky, it crunched under foot as I stepped through the woods. My fingers tightened on the compound bow as the creek, which was running faster than usual, came closer to view. My neck and lower face were covered by a black neck guard, a grey and black stripped hat pulled low, I had a grey hoodie on which was covered by a black jacket, the thick collar popped up. As I reached the creek I stepped upon a rock, my water-proof, elk fur lined boots gripped it enough for me to hop to another exposed rock. I made it across the creek with little water on my legs, the thermals I wore under my clothes kept me warm. As I went into the thicker parts of the forest in search of deer or elk, maybe moose if I'm lucky, I heard the 'thwump' of snow falling from the high pines. I turned to see the snow dust scattering from the branches, 'Okay, come on... Focus...,' my mind tried to clear. I shook my head and pulled the hood further over my head, then I saw a blur of something brown or something. Deer? Young elk? Whatever it was, I'll take it. I reached behind me and slowly grabbed an arrow from my quiver, trying not to rattle them too much. I notched it and pulled, bow still pointing at my feet and I swiftly turned, aiming between the trees... But I saw nothing... I sighed and lowered the bow when I heard a soft bark, I turn again, this time to the right, and I saw her. The small ball of fluff was brown. She had odd grey stripes and were those the buds of antlers? I put the arrow back in my quiver and put the bow on my back, as I knelt she whined and back away, the young creature looked lost, cold, and hungry... I shushed her and reached in my pocket, pulling out some jerky, dried apples and pears, and held it out to the beast. She smelled and inched closer, taking small bites from my hand, then licked my bare fingers and nuzzled my gloved hand. I grabbed her by the scruff and took her bum in my hand, I cocked my head to the side and she mimicked me before yawning. I looked around and unzipped my jacket, placing her in my joint pocket and my middle, then zipped my jacket up some. As I made my way home, I stayed alert, hoping the mother wasn't out prowling. When we got home, I placed her in front of the fire, upon the blankets next to the fireplace. As she warmed I made her warm milk and some jerky and fruit, which she devored greedily. I then named her, as she almost glowed in the fire's light, Atsila Awinita, my Fire Fawn.
Other: I'm in love with her, hope the story's not too long.. c:
