Adorable !! <3 I really wish that I could live in the countryside, but I don't ... My nan does though so whenever she goes on holiday we look after her house, {she has one cat XD}.
My nan likes nature and there used to be rats living under the shed eating the birdfood that dropped on the floor after the birds eat it, but then her next door neighbour put rat poisen down >=[ So I've never seen them again
That sounds really stupid, but when I went over there I used to sit on the step a little away from the shed and wach the rats pop in and out, then my mum would come and ask what I was doing whilst scaring the rats away >.>

I know how you feel, I don't think my border collie would hurt them, because she sits by there cage and runs away when they jump onto thee bars and try and grab her fur >.> lol
But my other dog proberbly would rip them apart because shes tried to attack our chickens (that we saved that now live in our back garden XD), so I wouldn't trust her :l

LOLZ! Me too, I have two mixes of em as My full bred one just passed away. Torey, Baset border collie dislikes the rat, she wont go near her.

XD lol yeah,
my first border collie is just a normal tri-coloured one, and we're very weird in my family, if we have a rabbit or something, we call them 'baby' when ever the dogs are around because they know that if they ever hurt a baby ... they get punnished XD
But my other dog is a rottiXcollie that we got from my uncle years ago because he had too many dogs and couldn't cope with her -.- she's the one who attacks the chickens and is genrally naughtier then my border collie XD

So I I would trust Kira {Border collie} but not Willow >.>

I really want to adopt rats, but I don't think there are any 'adoption centres for rats' where I live Ohh well, if I get another rat, it allways seems to be the one that no one wanted, so its a bit bigger then the rest or something XD

I found a Cleo, my blackish brown dumbo at a store, she was slightly odd and she was missing part of her tail...i had to buy her!

The humane societies usually have rats.

Aww, We were going to get one rat who was ratherbig compared to his cagemates, so we think he was there for a while, we went back every now and then to see what new animals they had, and he was there about 3 weeks, he looked so depressed :C
We went in to buy him the next day but he was gone :\ So we ended getting the two sisters that I have now XD
