Sky Wyrm Dragons are a newly discovered species of dragon. They don't possess any back legs or wings, and this is a trait believed to never be bred out of their DNA. Sky Wyrms have long, sleek bodies, and a long face to go with it. They have short, silky fur covering their bodies and have scales to protect their chest and soft underbelly; these scales are much like a snake's.
Even though Sky Wyrms have no wings, our scientists have discovered they can still fly using the 'magical' powers that they as a species have. They're also able to make their markings glow, and like your typical mythical dragon they can breath fire. Even so, these three things tend to be the only things they have power-wise.
⚛ ~ A Sky Wyrm's average body length is 1-4 Meters(3-12 feet)
⚛ ~ Their average weight is 30-80 Kilograms(66-176)
⚛ ~ Their Fan-like tail, claws, scales(Back and Belly), and horns are always the same color(s). While their body can be completely different.
⚛ ~ A Sky Wyrm's lifespan is about 100 years, but they aren't considered an adult until about 30 years.⚛ ~ Their diet consists of any animal they can catch, usually birds. They will also eat fruit.
⚛ ~ Sky Wyrms don't usually have complex patterns, and have no more than 5 colors.
⚛ ~ Can make markings glow.
⚛ ~ Sky Wyrm Dragons usually travel in small 'packs' formed over time. These packs can be up to thirsty Sky Wyrms each, but more commonly have about 12-15 Sky Wyrms.
⚛ ~ Very rarely are found in the wild, but aren't necessarily domestic.
⚛ ~ Respect everyone. I want this to be fun for everybody.
⚛ ~ Please don't bribe the artists to let you win, or other contestants to drop out of a competition.
⚛ ~ Don't steal the species, or anyone else's Sky Wyrm.
⚛ ~ Don't complain if you didn't win the Sky Wyrm you wanted. :3 There will be more!
⚛ ~ If you no longer wish to own your Sky Wyrm, please PM the artist who made it so he/she can be put up for re-adoption in a contest in which you can help judge.
⚛ ~ You may not own more than 7 Adult Sky Wyrms and 4 Sky Wyrms from the Nursery.
⚛ ~ Please no spamming. c: If the thread needs bumped, part of the staff can do that.
⚛ ~ Feel free to ask questions! We don't bite!....Hard.....
⚛ ~ Do not revamp your Sky Wyrm without the artist's permission.
If Re-Adopting A Sky Wyrm You Can;
⚛ ~ Gift it to someone if you have;
1; Contacted the artists for permission
2; Have owned the Sky Wyrm for at least four months
3; Let the archivist know
If a Sky Wyrm is gifted without permission, you may earn a strike.
⚛ ~ Hold a new competition to find a new owner if;
1; You have the artist's permission
2; You have owned the Sky Wyrm for at least four months
3; Let the archivist know when a new owner is picked
You may also help judge the re-adoption.
If Re-Adopting A Sky Wyrm You Cannot;
1; Give Runner Ups
2; Hold the contest for longer than 6 Weeks
Revamp Rules;
⚛ ~ You cannot change the design drastically, but you may simplify it.
⚛ ~ You must own the Sky Wyrm for at least two months
Item Rules;
⚛ ~ Unless given direct permission, no adding hair to Sky Wyrms that were not made with it.
⚛ ~ Sky Wyrms in anthro form may have hair, and it is encouraged!
⚛ ~ Facial Expressions may be modified. :3
⚛ ~ No editing the lines themselves.
If you get banned, the staff has the right to put your Sky Wyrm(s) up for re-adoption.

⚛ ~ Keep in mind Sky Wyrms will never have back legs or wings, and can have no more than five colors. c:
To All Scientists;
⚛ ~ You may own as many Sky Wyrms as you like, from both here and the nursery. But be reasonable! We want to leave some for the public! <3 You may also make yourselves customs(Or have another Scientist make one for you). :3 But, once again, be reasonable and remember the species' rules and guidelines.
