Faith saw Night start to mess with the lock, and the bay mare decided to do the same. She moved over to the gate of her paddock and moved her head over it. She started to play around with the lock, trying to get it open.
Dream nudged Warrior gently with her nose and then watched as the stallion went to a lone mare who was nearby. She flicked her tail and then lowered her head to graze, her ears pricked.
--He nickered in frustration. He started kicking and bucking at the lock. It jiggled with every kick, but no luck. "How do the humans do it?" he muttered to himself silently. He tried to remember the motion of the lock so he can turn or push or whatever to open it.

Faith gave up with the lock and stepped away, her ears pinned. She then noticed people coming over to her and Lily, one of them managing to get Lily. What was going to happen? She didn't know, but she didn't like it, all she wanted was to return to the wild. A rope was put over her head and tightened around her neck, and a human openers a gate to pull the two mares out. She hesitantly walked out, her ears laid flat against her head as she searched for some way to escape.
Devil grazed quietly, nipping at Garry every time the colt came close, he had to learn how to eat grass and not depend on her. Lucina stood by Devil, her ears pricked as she glanced around.

--Arabian Night galloped to the side of the fence closest to them. "Faith, are they hurting you?!" he cried. He tried not to rear. He remembered the chaos from last time. He glanced behind him. He heard a few horses laughing about how much he was overreacting. Maybe they were right. Maybe if they were behaving fine they would live with an easier life. He looked to Faith and flattened his ears. "be safe," he said.
--I saw a rabid coyote once.
