The Legend (Plot):
It is said that one day as the sun rose, The Guardians shattered the display of shimmering colors into a thousand gems. The place where all the gems fell is called Inlé, and was regarded a sacred place by all the wolf tribes of the Fruitful Valley.
Centuries passed, wars raged, and the wolves became scarred and beaten along with the land. Only one pack exists today, tried and true by the test of time, the Tribe of Inlé. It was as if the gems themselves had nurtured them and strengthened them while all the others struggled and died...
Then the pack forgot the fate of the others, and rebelled against the order of the gems. The once powerful Pack of Inlé split into the Sun Rise and Sun Set packs, separated by their hatred, and the river that divides Fruitful Valley. The Guardians, after giving them so many blessings, were left saddened by the rebellions of their Children.
When the wolves of Inlé split their people and their land, The Guardians also took back their most rich blessing from the wolves: The Powers of the Elements. Now, only one thing can earn them back their powers: Love. Only when one wolf unites forever with another, then will the Guardians see fit to grant them both with the blessed Elemental Powers forever.

Starting Off:
In this roleplay, you start off by the river as a young wolf of Inlé Valley. It is a morning, almost the end of Winter. Since the river is where most of the war between the Sunset and Sunrise tribes rages, you can choose to take a chance by staying near the river, or take a quick drink and dash away to safer areas. Soon the Alpha of each pack will call a meeting, as they do every morning, and the day's hunt will be organized.
Season: Beginning of Spring
Weather: Comfortable
Food Status: Plentiful
Stage of War: Just Breaking Out

Choosing a Gemstone for your Wolf:
The wolves of Inlé are different from other wolves in that they each have a unique gemstone attached somewhere on their body, whether it is the ear, neck, paw, tail, back, or any other place. This gemstone glows their color: Their color is what represents their personality and guides them in their lives. A wolf's gem can be Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue or Purple. There must be an EVEN NUMBER OF COLORS at all times in this roleplay!
If the wolf is feeling happy or sad, their color can become brighter of lighter. The shade of color also changes with the wolf's emotions. Check this chart for the shades of colors, and the links below it to understand what each color means:

Choosing your Color:
Please check these websites for the meanings of your colors and what personalities and qualities they transmit: http://www.squidoo.com/colorexpert ; http://crystal-cure.com/color-meanings.html Please be sure that you can role play the certain personality traits of each color well before making your character. RED ORANGE AND YELLOW GEM wolves live in the SUNRISE PACK, while GREEN BLUE AND PURPLE GEM wolves live in the SUNSET PACK. More colors will be unlocked when wolves of different colors start to breed.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Choosing your Elemental Power:
You wolf's element power will be unlocked when her/she becomes the permanent mate of another. Element powers are NOT to be used in a way that would be unfair to other role players. Nor are they to be used to cause harm for no reason. If so, the Guardians (specifically, me) WILL TAKE YOUR POWER AWAY for good. Now that this is clear, and element power should be something that corresponds to your wolf's color. Green wolves could have the power over vegetation, while blue wolves could rule the water. Red wolves might have the power of fire, and purple wolves the power over fruits and food. These are just EXAMPLES! Feel free to be creative with this! Also, powers are not huge and destructive! They may only be used for good, and POWERS CAN'T BE TOO DRAMATIC! No causing huge whirlwinds that blow all the birds out of the trees, or tsunamis that kill all the animals. That is a no-no. =)

Setting
There are many areas within Inle, for Inle is a very big place... Here is a map I made for your convenience: http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr55/sjuin/Map.jpg?t=1263056131
Windwillow Field: A very beautiful field. SUNRISE PACK LIVES HERE. It has long meadows of beautiful grass and sparkling lakes of clean, fresh water. Though this is such a beautiful place to live in the spring and summer months, the autumn brings a harsh change to warm air and the winter is a treacherous, cold time with no cover.
Oakheart Forest: Covered in lush green trees, this is the place where the SUNSET PACK LIVES. The trees provide cover and warmth in the winter, the food is plentiful, and many game come here to breed and give offspring to the world.
Fighting Grounds: This land is treacherous and dangerous, the land by the river, where most of the war rages. It is said that any pup born here will grow into an evil killer. This is where some rouges reside, waiting for the next victim to step inside these bounds. Outside of battle, Alphas and other males come to challenge and face off for territory, food, or mates. Not everyone comes out alive....
Peacemaker's Meadow: This is where Spirits come to rest in peace, where the fallen and passed-on wolves come after they have lived their life. This land is so silent that the only sound is that of the foot steps of the wolves who dare come to this place. Sometimes a wolf comes to this place when it is in need of help, and sometimes, so rarely that it is mentioned only in legends, the spirits give them a sign. Only those with pure hearts are allowed. All other must turn away.
Breeding Grounds: This is where the wolves of all tribes travel to breed. Fights rarely break out here... the only sounds are those of the birds chirping and the wind blowing. Red maple trees surround the land, and as the sunlight shines through their leaves it makes the land shine with a soft, magical glow. A beautiful romantic land with soft grass and isolation. This is where wolves who have come to mate are granted their elemental powers by the Guardians.
Birthing Lands: This is where all pregnant female wolves come and give birth to their offspring, often accompanied by their mates. There is no violence here, and it's a safe place for the weak and young. The land is warm but shadowed, a refuge from other harsh lands. There are many dens and caves in which to raise a family, and a cool clear stream runs through the middle of the land. Pups stay here until they are old enough to make the journey back the their parent's homeland.
Shadow Mountains: This land is almost always dark, and it is a very scary place. A huge mountain range towers above, forming an impassible wall. The trees are either tall bare trunks with mangled branches, or dead, shrivelled obstacles. There are piles of bones everywhere. It's a very dangerous place to stay. Sometimes banished or captured wolves are forced to stay here.

Rules
-All Tess' Rules apply
-Keep it safe, please. No bad language. You should know when something is getting out of the bounds of PG-13
-Obviously, all of Tess' RPing Rules apply.
-Be nice. Your character can be mean, but as for you, be nice to the other RPers.
-Any personal comments must be typed in (( )), [[ ]], or {{ }}
-Personal comments can help lighten the overall mood in a wolf fight or dispute. This is a nice thing to do for your fellow RPers.
-I highly prefer that you include a picture of your character in the form. Some people don't do this, but I find that a visual picture is an important part of every RP. If at all possible, please put a picture of your character for this RP in your signature. If the image is too big I can make it smaller for you for free. ^.^ This is very helpful in any RP.
-Please fill each form as completely as possible. It helps a lot. ;D
-You may have a maximum of three characters, including puppies. Only one character at first. If a character dies and goes to the Peace Maker's land, you may get another one. You must be able to handle all of your characters well! Also, make a separate post for each character.
-This is a REAL wolf RP. Please, no unreasonable colors or markings. No wings, two tails, etc. The only thing that is allowed which would otherwise be considered unnatural is your wolf's gem.
-Not every hunt is successful! Your character must sometime fail. He/she must sometime get tired, need to eat/sleep, or get hurt. No wolf is perfect.
-Please no graphic battle scenes and such
-No wolves are perfect. No wolf can bring down a full grown, healthy deer down by itself, anyways, wolves normally go for weaker prey.
-You won't always win the fight, or catch the prey.
-Please no prearranged matings, for first time meeting mating. Let your wolves meet other wolves.
-Please update your form whenever something new happens. I will keep a link to your form so it will be easy to find.
-Wait a while before two mated wolves have pups, it takes time to develop a relationship.
-Okay, this is an IMPORTANT RULE! Don't make a whole bunch of characters evil and such, or purely good. Wolves can be on no side at all. The can choose to be neutral, or be neither good or bad.
-No mary-sue, or god-moding, but you should know this by now right? If you do god-mod by accident, then someone will tell you POLITELY, and give suggestion on how to fix your problem.
-When fighting, you can fight over anything. Females, territory, food, pack positions, ect. Just don't make it over anything really stupid. If your not sure if it's something to fight about, then ask me.
-There are no humans at all in this land.
-Please respect how packs work. The Alphas DOMINATE. If you are not an Alpha, then you must respect the Alpha. Alphas are allowed to push around other members of the pack, by showing routine displays of dominance. These include showing teeth, snapping at other pack members, and just being aggressive to other pack members. If your not sure how this goes, look it up. Now, wolves that aren't Alphas must be submissive! This includes covering their teeth, exposing their neck and belly, often whining and "kissing up" to the Alphas, licking the Alpha as a show of affection, ect. Again, if you want more info, look it up.
-Anything else? Tell me!
Notes:
This is a semi literate RP. Please, none of this: *She went to the field.* "Oh a mouse!" *She eats the mouse*
Try to post more than one line. A lot of times this can be easy if you just write in detail your character thoughts, feeling, as well as actions. If a setting is not already described by someone else in the area you are in, you can do it yourself. Before you know it you'll have a good sized, well formed post.
This is also a continuing RP. This means that when two wolves decide to have pups, only one pup can be played by each parent. The rest must be played by a different person. I will have a list here of pups that need to be played along with the other character sheets here. The maximum number of pups per litter is three. You can have one for each parent, one for just one parent, or one for each parent plus an extra for another RPer, it's up to you, but please discuss with the other parent before making the final decision. You could also, of coarse not RP any of the pups and leave them up for another RPer. The mother and/or father of the litter has permission to play each pup for a short while, but after they grow she may not power play anymore.
