EarthClan
Emberclaw licked his sore shoulder as it ached,"Stupid DarkClan cats just had to attack SunClan." The Ginger Tom was just happy to be back in camp since the battle was over.

Ravenkit flinched as he set his aching paw down once more on the ground. Sighing, he headed into the nursery, pain reflecting in his neon green eyes, but he tried his best not to care. "Melodykit?" he called, looking around. Finally seeing the pretty she-kit, he limped up beside her, his bones killing him. "Melodykit, are you alright? The battle was pretty bad... I wanted to make sure you were okay..." he mewed shuffling his paws around on the ground.

((Yay! Battle done with!))

Rockclan

May Starclan light your path. Those were the final words Creampaw had said to her after the battle was over.

Birchpaw sighed. Creampaw was an eternal optimist, and was never one to question the way things had happened. He was a little panicky at the fight, but that was understandable, since it had been their first, and they had tried to take out a Darkclan warrior. That other she-cat did end up running off. Which was for the better considering how things turned out.

She felt so bad for her little brother. Everything was destroyed, and now for the last two days, she'd had no communication with him, finding out what was going on. Why couldn't their father just stay with an Airclan mate, so that they wouldn't all be split up? She practically knew no one in Rockclan, and she'd been here for a moon! Well, at least, she'd just made acquaintances.

But why... Why was his message filled with hope? The Sunclan camp had been destroyed, and cats had died, even their deputy. May Starclan light your path. How could he still have faith that Starclan would protect and save them, even though Starclan has made no movement to stop the rising of Darkclan? When all of their warriors recover, who knows where they'll attack next. No one could ignore the risk of Darkclan anymore.

She remembered the light. It was beautiful. But, at the same time, she saw a Sunclan cat, or at least, she thought she did, summoning it. Why would Starclan summon a light? It wasn't that great, even though it did stop the battle. It made Birchpaw wonder why everyone believed the fairytale.

She knew the truth. She would never see her mother again. She had gone off somewhere, not telling them where, leaving her kits cold and alone, in a clan where no one wanted them, as far as she knew. She was supposed to be raised in Iceclan of all places. All Orangewhisker would talk about was their mother, and she wanted to know why. Why the stars took her. If she was even with the stars. Why Lilytail left her five kits alone, motherless. And why they all needed to be split up.

Birchpaw shook herself out of her reminisce. She needed to move on. The gathering would be tonight, rising with the full moon. She would see her family again, unless Sunclan stayed behind to repair damage. Which she doubted, because they had very important news. She padded out of the apprentice den, searching for her mentor or a deputy to tell her what she needed to do.

((Wow... I usually never write like that. I would do Dapplepelt, but my dad says I need to get off. See ya monday, by the way, I'm going to internet school, so I'll be on the computer a lot... but sometimes posting on here feels like a chore, so I don't want to overexpose myself like I have been, so I may not be as active on here. But I will be on most likely...))

((yay! No more battle!))

FireClan

Jayscar took her spot underneath the Oak tree next to the WaterClan Medicine Cat, Pinefeather. She had dipped her head and Pinefeather did the same. The two She-Cats looked around, seeing that this gathering of cats was tense. Was there a battle? Most of the cat's looked injured, so it was probably feirce. But they didn't seem hostile to each other....It was probably DarkClan. Those evil cats will do anything for power.

Snowclaw sat in the clearing, watching the cats from all clans. She has heard there was a battle, DarkClan she had guessed. She looked around for Bloodstar. Where was he?

AirClan

Silverwind looked around for Stripetail. She wondered where the Tom had run off too....She spotted a striped tail. Was that him? Silverwind thought.

EarthClan & LeafClan

Flamestar leaped onto the (Rock? Branch? I dunno what it is...), Dawnstar following close behind. The two leader's watched the cats rome, most cats were wounded. Dawnstar had looked at Flamestar, who was injured aswell. Flamestar had felt Dawnstar's gaze, but was focusing on her Medicine cat, Sunheart. The gold tabby must've been busy, with all the DarkClan battle wounds. She looked exausted.

IceClan

Winterfur sat in the far corner, watching the other cats. She had attacked her leader, making a terruble mistake. She looked arounf for Skystar, wondering when she was to be given her punishment.....or her exile(sp?).

SunClan

Skysong sat by a huge willow tree, scouting the land for Sunstar. The new Deputy had to be chosen by Moonhigh, and she wanted to know if he was going to releave his answer at the gathering. Their previous Deputy, Lunarwing, was killed by a DarkClan cat. Those greedy and evil cats...Skysong couldn't stand them!
Hi Everyone, Sorry but I have alot going on in my life so I don't think I'm goin to be very active on CS anymore. I'll come on once in a while to check my messages and trades but I think that's it...Sorry :)

AirClan
Stripetail was crouched in a bush watching a robin hop along the ground. If it came closer he could catch it but it seemed to always hop out of his reach. He lashed his tail once angrily wishing it would come closer.

EarthClan
Dappleheart sat close to her leader as she waited for the other clans. Curling her tail over her paws, she yawned quietly feeling slightly bored but her blue eyes glowed with excitement.

FireClan
Nightfire looked around and, finding Foxflame, padded up to him. "Did you hear? There was a battle in SunClan." Foxflame looked up, eyes wide and scared. "What?!" Nightfire couldn't understand why her friend was so terrified of this news. It hadn't affected FireClan. "Yeah, DarkClan attacked and IceClan, EarthClan, and RockClan showed up. Something amazing happened as well, but no one will tell me what it is." Petalsong. That was the only thought running through the ginger tom's mind. "Were any cats...killed?" Nightblaze considered this for a moment, replaying the conversations she had overheard. "Yeah, the deputy of SunClan. But I'm pretty sure that's all." This meant nothing to Foxflame. Nightblaze wouldn't have all the information. What if his mate had been killed or fatally injured? And the kits. What if the unborn kits died along with their mother?

Flameheart yawned and layed down in front of the warriors den for some hard-core basking. He was going to make the most of his "night off." Bloodstar had left him at home just in case their camp was attacked so that there would be a witness.

WaterClan
Rainstar led her clan through the last ring of bushes surrounding the clearing, expecting the worst. Most of the clans were there already, excluding IceClan and RockClan. She was sure her warriors would find out about the battle soon, and Sunstar should announce details when it was his turn. In the meantime, she had to climb Centertree and wait for the moon to finish rising.

Silverleaf looked behind her anxiously. She didn't want to leave Dawnsinger behind, but her friend had not been deemed strong enough to go to the Gathering. At least Stormcall was staying with her. A thought came to mind, making the grey she-cat giggle. He was probably enjoying himself, alone with his mate.

AirClan
Stormcall jumped at the sound of his mate's hoarse voice. She needed more water. It was ironic how the extreme intake of water had made Dawnsinger's throat dry and raw. He set out to refill her moss from the lake. It wasn't far, but he ran anyway. He needed to burn energy somehow, and he didn't want to keep his poor mate waiting for long. She was so close to being healthy again.

Ashfeather stood beside Nightfeather, their tails twined together. "Is FireClan here yet?" she meowed anxiously. "I don't see him." Nightfeather smiled, already having spotted his mate's brother. "He's over there, talking to Nightblaze." He gestured in the direction of the ginger tom with his front paw. Ashfeather sped off, almost dragging her mate along with her. "Foxflame, Foxflame, did you hear? SunClan was attacked!"

EarthClan
Earthpaw searched the clearing, looking for the new friend he had made. Surely Brightpaw was here. She hadn't been injured in the battle, so why wouldn't she?

RockClan
Marshpelt picked up speed near the head of his clan. Hopefully that would clue Minkstar in to running faster. He needed to see if SunClan was okay.

IceClan
Skystar stopped her clan just before the last ring of bushes. She turned and spoke to them quietly. "Don't say a word about the battle," she hissed. Several warriors nodded enthusiastically, so she led IceClan into the clearing and made her way to Centertree. She pranced up and around the winding branch, feeling very proud indeed.

Nightfall followed his leader, Shadepaw and Shiverpaw flanking him. Something had happened between the two apprentices, and he felt obligated to keep an eye on them. Once he was sure of their presence, he looked for his siblings. There was Nightblaze, and there was Nightfeather, being pulled along by that crazy mate of his. A smile tugged at the corners of the black tom's lips, but he ignored it. There wasn't any reason to smile.

SunClan
Sunstar sat atop the Highbranch, closing his eyes. Surprisingly, he could hear almost every word of the conversations below him. Even though they were so far away, they rang clear as a bell to the ears that only wanted silence.

Brightpaw looked up at the Highbranch fox-lengths above. It was intimidating to sit below it, but she had to. Flowerface had stayed at camp with the injured cats, so she was supposed to take her mentor's place. She wondered vaguely if she would see Earthpaw before the night was over.

Pansykit collapsed in front of the leader's den. She had been helping her mother all day, fetching what was left of herbs in the medicine den and holding cobwebs. These past two days could count as two moons of training to be a medicine cat.
Fernkit nudged her sister. "Get up," she meowed crossly. "If you're so tired, go in the apprentices den with the other kits."
Pansykit couldn't argue with that. She hauled herself to the small rock cave and plopped down on a nest, not bothering to find out whose it was. She was asleep as soon as her head hit the bracken.

Flowerface pressed wet moss to Petalsong's lips, trying desperately to get the injured queen to drink. Her milk was drying up, and soon there would be no hope for her or her kits. She couldn't let that happen.

LeafClan
Heathersong breathed in the night air, trying to gain confidence from it. She had not told her leader about the dreams when they had visited the Moonrock two days before. Hopefully Dawnstar would be compliant. "Are you coming with me?" She turned to Stormpaw who was standing beside her, at the foot of the Centertree.

DarkClan
Icestar frowned as she walked her new minion back and forth. He was completely brainwashed, with no annoying thoughts at all. Annoying thoughts like Hopeflight's. She longed to silence them with a blow to the stomach, and then the throat, but she had tried before. Hopeflight just wouldn't die! No matter what the leader did to her, she always recovered eventually. StarClan must be on her side. Yes, Icestar believed in StarClan, but they were her sworn enemies.

RockClan
Islandsong caught up to Marshpelt even though she was still alittle sore from the battle,"Are you excited for the gathering? You might see your mate." Her dark blue eyes glowed only with excitement, giving nothing away.

EarthClan
Emberclaw turned to his apprentice and noticed he seemed different. He gently nudged Earthpaw,"Hey are you ok? You seem antsy about something."

(Yes, I know, but she can't answer. Petalsong's kits haven't quite opened their eyes yet, and they can't talk. Plus, the nursery was completely destroyed in the earthquake, so they couldn't be there. Did you read my post? It is imperative that that post be read.)

Gathering
Foxflame looked back and forth between Nightfire and Ashfeather. "Actually, I did hear. Just now. Have you seen Petalsong? I'm worried about her." Ashfeather shook her head. That hadn't occured to her until now. What if Petalsong was injured, or killed?! "We should ask someone. I'll bet a SunClan apprentice would tell us. He'd probably be so scared of you that he would blurt out the answer, even if Sunstar told him to keep it quiet." Foxflame glared at his sister, but he had to admit she was right. And he did need to know if his mate was alright. "I don't like taking advantage of people, and you know that. But..." The silver tabby she-cat grinned at him and set off in search of the young cat that could give them the information they needed. "I'll be right back, Nightfire. Nightfeather." He dipped his head to the black tom and followed his sister through the crowd.

Nightfire watched her friend leave, shaking her head. "I hope he finds out." She then turned to her brother, left standing in front of her. "How are you?" she asked cheerfully. "I haven't talked to you in quite a while." Nightfeather smiled. "Yeah, since you missed the last Gathering." His sister rolled her eyes. "My ankles were hurting." Her usually timid little brother lit up at that statement. "Wow, you must be getting old, my dear sister. This is the first sign that you're finally ready for the elder's den. Congratulations! Nightfall and I will be sure to attend the ceremony." Nightfire looked as though she would rip his face off when Nightfall walked up behind her. "What ceremony?" he said quietly. "Nightfire's elder ceremony. Her joints are acting up, and you know what that means." The pure black tom was having a hard time stifling his laughs now, and his sides hurt from the effort. If only his sister wasn't so much fun to tease. Nightfall couldn't help but smile as well, and he completely forgot his plan to watch the two IceClan apprentices.

Earthpaw looked up, startled. "Oh, I'm just worried about SunClan." He wanted to smack himself in the face for the pathetic excuse. Oh, well. His mentor would find out that something was going on sooner or later, no matter how hard he tried to keep it a secret. If he didn't get better a lying, it would be sooner rather than later.

Marshpelt was startled. He had barely thought about Silverleaf. "Oh, um, yeah." He faced forward, cursing himself and trying to avoid any more conversation so he wouldn't look like a fool. Yet again.

Gathering
Emberclaws green eyes narrowed for he knew his apprentice was lying,"Alright. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to but I would appreciate it if you did. I'm your mentor and I won't judge you in any way." The ginger warrior wouldn't pressure Earthpaw but he didn't want to lose his trust so he would let him decide if he wanted to tell anyone.

Islandsong was confused but decided to ignore it. She slowed her pace till she was running with the rest of the clan. Her paws made no noise as she ran and her dark blue eyes glowed with excitement.
