oh man i'm so sorry how inactive i've been recently! I hope to finish up this batch of customs and then forcus more on making adoptable deersserts uvu

I think custom lines for Deerssert number 100 would make it more special than any other simple or complex line edits. It would be totally unique! ^.^

Well, lineart edits definitely, though that might not seem very special since many of the Deersserts have this done to them already. (Guilty x3)
I would suggest a whole new lineart for the 100th, but the lineart we have is already so beautiful x)

As long as the artist would feel comfortable making a custom lineart for the 100th, then I think it would be a great idea <3
(Or, if needed, it could be a collaboration between a couple of artists [i.e. one artist draws the lineart, and the other makes the design])

I don't really know. I don't have any good ideas right now, but I'll get back to you guys if I do x3

Maybe random generator, but it might be cool if all the staff gave input on the design somehow and contributed something to it. Like if everyone worked together to come up with a concept/theme and then one person drew it (or multiple staff collabed on it). I don't know how well that would work though.

What should the deerssert be based off of?
Something that hasn't been used before, something unique. I have no idea what though.

How could we make it special?
Lineart edits, unique (or special 100s only) lineart, and/or customizable elements (such as the winner determines the style/color of hair or what takes the place of the cherry) would be cool!


I won't be able to try out since I filled all my slots already, but I'm super excited to see #100!

this is a really off-the-wall idea, but what if all of the artists were asked to give three words? then, the chosen artist had to pull three random words from a hat [or do a number generator idk] and try to use those three words for the deerssert? i.e. grey, chocolate, and coffee: trying to make a deerssert that somehow incorporates all three of those qualities.

How could we make it special?
special lineart is a given, but then we have the issue of the ~chosen artist~ feeling comfortable drawing new lines or not. i can't speak for everyone, but i know myself, for sure, wouldn't feel confident enough drawing a unique lineart. and it'd kinda suck to not be given the honour of making the deerssert just because one couldn't draw an exclusive lineart. the idea of a collaboration is good, though! if that were a thing that the masses would entertain.
but yeah there are a lot of adopts with lineart edits [which, sorry not sorry, they're fun and it's nice to spice them up that way!] so that alone wouldn't make it special. i dunno. u__u
i do like the idea of customisable elements! that'd be neat and could really encourage making a character of the deerssert.
also, being available to people who already have 8, perhaps?

I'm trying out for Deerssert #58 right now, with the name haiku. I don't like capitalizing the name though, so it'll always stay lowercase. Since it's the spirit of summer, I feel like it needs a gentle, subtle tone to it. So haiku seemed like a nice fit. I'm bad at coding and don't have art on my form, so I'm relying on my writing skills. Wish me luck <3

Since everyone requested it, it will be a randomly chosen thing, but it will only be available to artists who have made adoptable deersserts.
The winner won't be chosen for awhile because we still have about 40 more deersserts to go before 100.
So until then, keep telling me ideas and I'll put them up into a poll once we only have about 10-20 more deersserts to go. c:

i've noticed other adoptables doing this, so i was wondering if it were something you'd be interested in doing too [it sounds like a lot of fun, imo]
how about a staff litter/series/whatever? either giving a theme and getting everyone to work from that, or picking a colour palette and everyone working from that? of course, i don't know how many of us actively make adoptable ones [and apologise for making so many myself adghljk] so i dunno how many we'd have participate. uwu; but even the mods could have in on it, if you permitted.

i dunno, it just seems like a lot of fun. wouldn't have to be this month, or even next month. maybe like next may or something. just an idea to hold in the recesses of your mind.
