Badgermask looked down at the other tom and to the jaws on his legs. "I don't think we can pull it off without pulling off his leg too..." he meowed grimly. "And the medicine cats are out or down."

He let out another cry of pain, he could barely see anything.

[Mufa]

Mothheart smiled. "Why thank you, Mudsplash. But do not worry. When you get an apprentice, you will train them very well," she purred.

Darktalon skidded to a halt as he heard Badgermask calling his name. Turning, the muscular tom bolted towards the scene. As he arrived, Darktalon was taken aback. What is that thing? "How are we going to get him out?" the warrior asked. As the she-cat appeared, the tom examined her quickly before facing the scene once again.

[Saxhleel]

Badgermask shook his head a little bit "I have no idea...I can only think to pull him and if we do that he might lose a leg or die..." he meowed in his deep voice. "Moongaze? Moongaze can you hear me?" he asked, they'd need his co-operation if they could get it.

Mudsplash purred back at her in thanks "It's a comforting thought..." she purred. "It shouldn't be long, maybe They'll be among the next batch of kits, the first born since...well since that harsh leaf bare."

He could just about hear "y-yes" he had to push the words out.

Badgermask examined the tom on the floor "You cannot move can you?" he asked, unsure why. "If I pull you, your leg might come off, so I will only do that if you want me to. But thats a last resort..." he then looked at Darktalon "Run back to camp..get Reedfoot or some herbs if he can't make it." he replied and looked down at moongaze "Try and stay here, with us...you're not going to Starclan just yet."

[Mufa]

Darktalon nodded firmly before heading back to camp. He had never moved quite so fast before. Arriving back at camp in seconds, the tom skidded to a halt. "Reedfoot!" the warrior called. "Does anyone know where Reedfoot is?" he called. Darktalon ran towards the medicine cats den and poked hid head in. "Hello?"

"All I can promise is that Viperstar will give you the right apprentice when the time comes," Mothheart purred. She watched as Darktalon came storming in while searching for the medicine cat. Facing Mudsplash once again, the she-cat grew curious. "I wonder what's going on."

[Karma.]

Viperstar walked into camp via the back route. He laid the fish down on the fresh kill pile, and then looked around to see who to send out on the border patrol. Noticing some of the cats were missing, Viperstar trotted over to the warriors den. "Snowspirit? Moongaze? Badgermask? Darktalon?" He said into the darkness. No reply. "Hmm, where could they have got to? Probably hunting." He shrugged off the bad thoughts - cats were allowed to go out freely, and Viperstar didn't always have to know. As he turned, he spotted Darktalon..

{If you guys haven't already noticed, we no longer have a deputy. Viperstar will be picking the deputy at the same time that Runetalon is accepted into clan. If you don't want to be deputy, put dwd ((don't want deputy)) in your next post. Otherwise, all the warriors will be considered as deputy.}

Moongazes leg was just getting worse "d-do what you must" he rasped, he let out another cry of pain as the metal jaws were growing tighter and deeper.
