Oak grinned and stuck out his tongue at his sister. "Would you like to come hunting? We can pick Bramble up on the way. It'll be fun!" The tomcat smiled at his sister, pouncing on her and rolling her over, pinning her shoulders. "As High Prince, I command you to come!"

xxxVoe smiled at her daughter. "Timber. You are the best little she-cat a cat can ask for. Oak," she turned to face her son. "Bramble is lucky, so lucky, to have you. And you her, now go on you two." Voe received a lick for her daughter before she and Oak left. When they were gone, Voe saw her old mate. "Roar. I've missed you more than you imagine." Roar licked her on the cheek and left, leaving a breeze of StarClan scent.

Roar took a deep breath, then appeared in front of his former mate. He looked shyly up at Voe, his heart thudding. He was a little uncertain; after all, he was dead. It wasn't like he and Voe had forever. They would, eventually; but his mate was young, and would live on for a long time. "Hello," he mumbled nervously. "I missed you."

Timber springs to her paws, puffing out her chest. "Yes, almighty prince!" she giggles, marching off into the undergrowth. Upon arrival back at camp, Timber glances around camp, looking for two she-cats in particular. She spots Dove nearby and turns to look at Oak. "Go ask Bramble to come, I'm going to check on Dove. As the older sister of the High Prince, I command you to!"

Oak sighed, rolling his eyes at Timber, but shot off into the forest and reached Bramble quickly. His heart thumping, he padded nervously up to her with his auburn fur shining copper, the shafts of sunlight dappling his pelt and creating dancing shadows. "Hi, Bramble... Voe said me, you and Timber can go hunting. Are... are you up for it?" The tomcat swallowed nervously, unwilling to tell her of the conversation. If Bramble asks, I'll speak, but otherwise I'll keep quiet... Until Timber comes and blurts out everything!"

xxxVoe sighed. "Same for me. I-I know others feel the same. Your ceremony.. It's tonight. I hope you are proud of Oak." His scent was heavy and pleasant. She sniffed in the aroma, shy in front of her mate.

The tabby bicolour had sat still and silent while the High Prince went to speak with his mother. Pumpkin and Red did not return and Bramble's paws were starting to itch with impatientness. She knew that she shouldn't go wondering, but the sky was clear and so her scent trail would stay. How could she be trained to be a warrior when her mentor was busy helping another warrior who had tantrums like a kit? Just as she was thinking about going to find them, Oak stepped into the clearing and trotted over to her, asking if she wanted to go hunting with him and Timber. Hunting with the High Prince and the Princess? What an honour! Getting to her paws, Bramble nodded. "I'd love to."
