It's a scam alright anything that asks for your password is bound to be a scam.

If a site asks you for account information like your password, their intentions are not to help you. Never give out your password to anything.

The user who claims they didn't get their stuff stolen was just an account made to try and fool you into doing it. That site's been reported now.
