What are Time Guardians?
Time Guardians are a medium-sized mammal the size of a small to medium dog. They have long, often colorful fur and thick, fluffy tails. They are a sleepy, peaceful species and would rather come up with a resolution than fight or flee. TGs love shiny things, especially pocket watches, and are often seen carrying a watch with them around their neck or in their mouth. They are fascinated by the transition between the sun and the moon (dawn or dusk) and are most awake during these times to watch the sun rise or retreat behind the horizon.
Many TGs will show a preference for either dawn or dusk. TGs with a brighter, happier personality will usually be more into the dawn, while darker ones will usually love the sunset more
TGs have winglike structures branching from their elbows, and can use them for gliding, but cannot fly.
TGs love open plains, shores, and mountains, where they can see the sky at nearly all times. They are rarely spotted in forests or deep valleys. However, if the forest is sparse or the mountains low, they may settle for the less-favorable territory.
TGs have a wide array of fur colors, but usually males have lighter, more colorful pelts than the females. Although it is possible to have a very colorful female or a rather plain male, it's not as common.
