Oooh, now I wanted to ask everyone how you first got introduced to or what got you into watching Doctor Who. I'd be very interested to see everyone's answer. X3

I watched the two new Star Trek movies, and became a Trekkie. I saw Benedict Cumberbatch in Into Darkness, and recognized him a bit. I went home and tried to find out who the actor was. I had seen some superwholock on tumblr before but didn't know what it was. I thought Benedict was the actor who played the 11th Doctor. (don't kill me, I didn't know ANYTHING about fandoms then). I found out he was Benedict, and not the eleventh doctor, and started watching Sherlock because I thought he was a good actor. I then discovered superwholock. I asked my friends "Should I watch Supernatural or Doctor Who next?" and one friend said Supernatural and one said Doctor Who. So I watched the first episode of the ninth doctor and the first episode of Supernatural, and concluded that I would start watching Doctor Who, as supernatural was too scary. I finished all of New Who in order in 9 days, and became a hard core fan really fast. The next month I cosplayed River Song at my country's biggest comic con. I started watching Supernatural again, and I got big into Superwholock. I now run a fandom blog and am I die hard fan. The end. :)

I had heard a lot about Doctor Who on the web and in real life, and I did a lot of reasearch about it out of curiosity. I bought season 6, part 1 of Doctor who about 4 or 5 months ago and I got hooked.

My first taste of Doctor Who came when I was reading fan fiction from one of my favorite westerns. It was a new on story just posted by one of my fav writers. I almost didn't read it because it was crossed over with a show I'd never heard of (DW). But I read it and loved it.
I didn't follow up on the show though. Here on CS, I saw more and more DW sigs and avatars, so I thought, Heck why not? So I watched an episode ("The Rebel Flesh" and "The Almost People"). I was hooked and couldn't stop watching.
And, yes, 11 was my first Doctor and I love him to bits, but I watched David before he was the Doctor so he's me fav...wait, does that technically mean David was my first Doctor?
