Let's see...I was first exposed to Doctor Who on here, seeing gifs, avatars, icons, etc. in people's signatures and profiles. X3 I never understood what it was and I didn't think I'd ever watch it. Then I made friends/made stronger bonds with previous acquaintances who loved the show my senior year of high school (2011-2012), I listened to all they said, but I still didn't know what they were talking about, but I did start having an interest in watching the show. It wasn't until this year during my first semester of college that I actually watched it. I started riding the public bus and 2 guys from my high school rode it and went to the same school as me and I felt more secure having "bus buddies" and I felt left out when they talked about Doctor Who, so I decided to request the 5th season of the new series from the public library because it was the only one that had the least amount of requests on it. ^^;
And that's what got me hooked. So the 11th Doctor is one of my favorites because he's the one that got me interested/got me hooked on Doctor Who and made me want to watch all the previous ones.

So far, I've only gone as far back as the...3rd season of the new series and as far forward as the 7th season part 2 the Silver Menace episode I think it is. I haven't seen the episodes where the Ponds leave, though I know it happens and I haven't seen the season finale of the 7th season. ^^;

My friend and I were having a sleepover. She said, "Hey, ever heard of Doctor Who?" And i said no. So she insisted we watch one episode. Guess which episode it was?

Blink.

And that kids, is how I got addicted to Who.

Sorry, fixed a spelling error :3 carry on

Oh gosh. Some episode to start your friends out with. X3

Oh, you've never watched Doctor Who? Here, let me show you an episode with one of the most terrifying creatures in it so that you will never look at an angel statue the same way ever again. X3

The whole time i was curled into a ball on the couch and the only words i could say were

"Who? What? HOW? Whaaaat?"

and the "sounds" of silent terror. What ever that sounds like. XD

I heard and saw all the hype about it on the internet, and a TON of my Brony friends loved it. I was interested in what had hooked all of these people - why did they love this show so much? I truly had no idea what I was getting into when I randomly decided to watch "The Eleventh Hour" with my sister. I fell in love with the show after maybe the second or third episode of Matt Smith's series, but my sister decided she didn't want to watch any more episodes after seeing how she didn't enjoy "The Eleventh Hour." My mother called it dorky, and other mean names in the beginning as well. My mom originally didn't like Matt Smith, but enjoyed Tennant, though she really wasn't a fan of the show in general. My brother randomly decided to watch an episode with me, and he then got hooked (he came in somewhere within the first 5 episodes of Matt Smith's series). My sister got hooked much later in Matt Smith's series, saying that she only though "The Eleventh Hour" was stupid, and that she enjoyed the rest of the episodes. My siblings, in my opinion, are bigger Whovians than I am, but I still thoroughly enjoy Doctor Who. Oh, and my mom recently got hooked on it, and has actually been watching a couple episodes with me and my siblings. She says she's not a Whovian because she's not obsessed with the show, but that she still enjoys watching it.

I watched Smith first, then Eccleston, and now I'm getting through Tennant. :) Because of this, my favorite doctor is 11 - Matt Smith. I like 10 - Tennant - and 9 - Eccleston - as well, but 11 is my favorite. XD

Speaking of Bronies, I've been wanting to see the episodes of MLP: FiM with the Doctors as ponies. X3 I've never seen the episodes and I really want to, but I don't know the names of any of them. X3

I watched a couple of episodes from when it first started up again in 2005, but it was never something I'd watch every week or consider myself a fan of. Then me, my brother, and my dad watched The Eleventh Hour, and I haven't missed an episode since ^^ I think I became a lot more obsessed with it over the Internet, though. I go to the Doctor Who club at my school c:

Oooh. You have a club at your school? X3 You lucky person you. X3 As far as I know, my college doesn't have any such club, but I think that one certainly ought to be made. X3

Love the #LOL x3

I saw my dad looking at sonic screwdrivers last night. He was looking for 9's

So I gave him a lesson on sonic screwdrivers. Told him 9's is the same sonic screwdriver as 10's.
