I am glad that I am choosing TAFE over Uni, I don't think I would cope >.< My anxiety disorder would be the death of me if I went to University

Yeah but in most cases TAFE doesn't count as swat against a University degree when applying for work, it's just Brownie points unless it's a trade or has something to with the food industry.

My mum worked for TAFE with some of the asylum seekers for a while.

im in uni now, but ive been to public school all throughout my life. most of the private schools that ive seen are attached to religion which i suspect is why my parents didnt place me in a private school (along with the expenses that go with private schools too)

and also for those of you who do plan to go to uni, i wish you all the best because from what ive experienced so far, its quite difficult and im only in my first year

Correct me if i'm wrong, but you've mentioned that you live in the ACT right?
Do you know if the University of Canberra is any good? We went past it when our brother school and mine were on a tour. We were told that it's a relatively good Uni and we should consider going to it.

i do live here correct. the UC is a pretty good uni - its known for the more practical courses (unlike its fellow competitor ANU which is known for the more theoretical courses) and it has lower entry scores as well so its a good option for the majority of people. but yes it is a pretty good uni... and if i recall correctly it has a high job entrance rate when people graduate from their courses, which is pretty cool
