And I hate the NAPLAN too! Does anyone else think they should get rid of NAPLAN and agree it's a silly program?

Like I got mine back a week ago and I'm below the school level in math but way above the national level in reading

I'd have to disagree. NAPLAN is there to help the system find the different areas that certain schools or districts might need help and supplies. As well as any improvements on the system that could be made.

The problem is that, yes, that's what it is for, no, that's not how it's always used. And in some schools, they spend a long time teaching NAPLAN so they get good results and no other time focusing elsewhere.

Anyways, I read in the newspaper that the hunt for the thylacine goes on down here in Tassie! They have ten professionals going searching for two years to find any evidence that they are still alive.
Even though I think it is great that they are doing this for the thylacine, I personally don't agree that they should really be searching, because if it does turn out they are still alive, they will want specimens for zoos, research and so on.

Ah, true. I agree with you, however, I hope that if they do find them, then they put up a national park where they're found. It would prevent public interference to their natural lives.
