Kacey nodded "Yes as a matter of fact it is surrounded by thick forest, but there is about a half of a mile of just clearing, where the pastures are" Kacey didn't know weather to say were or are, she new with her friends cleverness she would have already been moved out. Kacey yawned, walked out into the hallway for the stairs. She didn't trust elevators anymore, she felt like that one cruel person rigged them before they died, so that they would plummet to the last level and collapse around the person inside. Kacey peered down the stairs and listened in silence for ever so much as the shaky dead breath of one of the infected.

haha, yes. i couldn't help but feel excited to get there, already moving down the steps. me being claustrophobic, the narrow halls that led down weren't the best thing, but it was definitely a lot better than taking an elevator. i couldn't deny my eager and excited state, it being way too obvious by my actions. i haven't been in a real forest in so long. so long being half a month. whatever, that was long for me. i greatly anticipated the trees and the birdsong and just nature of it all. these buildings i've been in, yeah, i was sick of them, to say the least.

Kacey was silent, just envisioning the scenery. She thought about the last time she worried about what her surroundings looked like, about a month maybe two ago, that was her worrying about her neighbour getting arrested for domestic violence and with a neighbour like that that maybe she should move. Kacey peered around the corner, her eyes locking on the empty second floor lobby, it was a little strange it becoming just randomly deserted.


(Could you please make your front a little bit bigger like maybe 75 or 80, it is kind of hard to read and my doctor says I am not allowed to wear my glasses as a test to see if my eyes will adjust by themselves)

i landed at the end of the flight of stairs, rolling my shoulders and sighing heavily, turning my gaze to the other girl and only giving a small quirk of a smile. "you lead, kay? cause i have no idea where we're goin' so." i shrugged, my best attempt of a smile fading as i turned my gaze away from her once more. "and uh. what're we gonna do once we actually get there? just, survive and find a way to live or..?"

basis, he can be rather moody and impatient. Unsurprisingly, he is fairly
insensitive and rude when it comes to communicating with other people,
even when they aren't trying to kill him, anyway. Despite that, though,
once someone actually takes the time to get to know him, he can be
rather kind and caring. If he is somewhere between trusting you
and not, he may act charming and cool, either holding a smile or
a carefully placed stoic expression.]

[Jem has thick dark brown hair that, when it's not tied or slicked back,
hangs just above his shoulders. While he usually has a clean shave,
sometimes he can't find the time, and he gets a little bit scruffy. His
eyes are a light blue color that betray his emotions, even if his
expression won't. He is tall, standing at approximately six-
foot-two-inches in height. He is slender yet strong, and his complexion
is one that hovers between a light and medium olive tone. While
he enjoys wearing blazers, they get in his way when he tries to do
something, so he typically wears a hooded jacket, a T-shirt, and
a pair of worn jeans that won't restrict his movements. He wears
either boots or running shoes, depending on his location. Besides
that, his right ear is pierced, but he typically keeps an unnoticeable
stud in so that it doesn't get caught on anything. For protection
purposes, instead of shifting, James uses a bow and arrow,
and, in some desperate cases, a gun.]
