Guys do you think having two fursona's is too much?

Okay, i didn't want to join at first, but now, i want to leave my opinion X3
Also, sorry if you disagree with me, but you don't have to reply, it's just how i feel about this question, ok? :3

Well, i have two fursonas: Thales and Werkex. Werkex is completely me in every way, but Thales is not. He's a bit different from me and i think we would have arguments in real life. But i consider him my //second// fursona 'cause i've been sharing too many experiences and stories with this character for some time and i perceived we have a lot in common. So, no, i don't think two fursonas are too much, even if you're only one person. Yes, of couse, sometimes it may be annoying, but i think it depends of how the owner deal with the two. Like, on my drawings, i draw myself as Werkex, but in real life, i'm always talking about Thales. I think it's some kind of triality. While Werkex is me, Thales is just... my best friend, let's say...?
Also, (yes, i'm talking to people who posted before me) i think you can use an animal to represent you. It is... how do you see yourself. I think you're free to feel however you feel.

Also, i don't think having more than two fursonas is too much, but i think people who have 3 or more should be careful. It may change the way people see you and also, may look like you have some kind of multi-personality disorder (sorry if you think it's a bit rude). I think if you have more than two, you should take some time to see if it's really what you want and analyze all their personalities carefully to see if they really represent you.

Nope. There's no point having one if you can't connect, if you prefer not having one then don't. A sona is a representation of yourself, if you don't feel the need to represent yourself like that then don't

I personally believe in having only one sona and how it seems to me many with multi sonas will often lean to one over the other but some people are able to pull it off in very creative ways making them represent all kinds of things. But it's really all how you want to represent yourself.

I think that they should have a somewhat similar history to yours, but if yours is boring then spice it up!
Lynt and Kidd have the same basic history as me with a few twists
Hiroaki's is actually completely different from mine [i mean... he is a Pikachu from the future who knows everything xDD]
Danny and Emily also had the same basic history as me but with twists

I don't think fursonas really need a background at all, to be honest. I've always seen my fursona as representing who I am right now, not necessarily who I was or who I will be, so I've never given any of my sonas background stories. That doesn't mean your fursona can't have a background, because for some people that is just as important to them as their sona's design and personality! But I think that the background for a fursona can't be something you just made up out of the blue. It doesn't need to be the same background as their creator exactly, but everything that has happened to the fursona has to have some sort of meaning to the creator or represent something that has happened to the creator or some aspect of the creator. uwu
So, perhaps even if the creator has a good family, if they feel as though someone(be it a family member or some other very important figure in their life) has abandoned them in some way, then their fursona being orphaned could be appropriate! I don't know where exactly that sona living on the bad side of the streets could fit in in this situation but I'm sure there is a situation where it could work. ;w;
