Shadowstar looked up surprised. "Uhm... Yeah." He said, half in a daze.

Tigerkit saw a slight movement from somewhere in the nursery and smiled, jumping out of his nest. He padded over to the other kit but frowned when she went back to sleep. "Mouse dung.." he muttered.

Swiftpatch shifted in her spot and examined his expression. "Everything alright?"

Amberkit twitched her ears. She was just slightly asleep but not completely so she heard someone come up behind her.

"Yeah. I'm fine." Shadowstar sighed. "Just caught up with my past" he muttered

Swiftpatch nodded in understanding. "Most cats here do have difficult pasts-" she whispered, knowing that the whole clan was made entirely up of loners and rouges. "-but I think you have a special one. It's about Vaporstar, isn't it?"

Tigerkit crept down in attempt to hide himself. He gently poked her ear, seeing as she was shifting in her sleep.

Shadowstar sighed. "Yes." He admitted. He really missed when they were traveling together.

Amberkit rubbed her paw over her ears in her sleep. She opened one eye and then closed it again.

Swiftpatch let out a small sigh. "Things change. If she is still the same cat you knew 10 moons ago, then she would understand if you simply talked to her. "

Tigerkit jumped back once she reached for her ear. He giggled slightly, poking her ear again.

"You don't think I've tried" he hissed. He widened his eyes. "I..I'm really sorry" he mewed. "Its almost impossible."

Amaberkit peeked out again but didn't really care. She curled up and twitched her ear every time he touched it.
