Since Nevermore's the newest one, I'll answer relating only him... he is fine with both, but has a higher interest in chocolate.

Two of Orvar's front right hooves brushed the dust of the cruel rock crag upward as Catch stared back at him. There was something in the sleipnir's eyes. He was closed to any reason.
She tried anyway.
"Orvar they're coming for you. The town ponies. You have to go"
"You told them. I trusted you and you told them I was here!" He cried. She shook her head. Wondered how to explain it hadn't been her. It had been her brother fretting. Sending letters that eventually were opened by the wrong people "No. Please. Orvar I love you. That's why I'm telling you, you have to go!"
"I'm a god!" he snapped. Several hooves stomped "They should bow down to me! They will. Once they see. They'll be awed for I am a god" he smiled. Catch fought the sobs. They'd kill him on sight.
"You're not a god you idiotic creature!" she screamed "You are a relic. You are alien. You are a monster. You are no god Orvar. You're the creature foals fear and you will never be anything but that" she yelled. Each word spat like poison. Even with his closed expression she saw the pain in his eyes.
"I trusted you" he murmured. He no longer look regal or proud. He looked...broken.
Catch stared down, unable to meet his eyes. When she looked up once more, Orvar the sleipnir was gone.

Catch was sent to investigate a strange figure on the hillside.
She found a sleipnir by the name of Orvar. Strange. Regal. Believed himself a god.
She kept him secret, protected him. Finally her brother realised what she was against and sent for help, thinking her captured.
Orvar wanted her to go with him. But she could not return.
She choose her brother over her love, and drove him away. After that day she never saw Orvar again, and she still now tries to move on.
And how's the god himself? He's never let another pony to get close enough to ask.
