Hawkclaw's eyes widened in alarm. She thought about calling to Aspenstar, but decided against it and followed Feathertail.
"I don't want to seem rude, but who are you?" Hawkclaw asked the other cat as they ran.
"Shellclaw of Stoneclan."
"Hawkclaw from Flameclan." Hawkclaw responded. She glanced back, looking to see if anyone had noticed them leave. It seems no one had. Soon, they were close behind Firebird and the masked cats.

Aspenleaf flicked her ears as a few cats from Willowclan approched her. One was the deputy, Phoenixsoul. The ginger tom seemed to be very close to her. The others were mewing happy things. "I see Eclipsemoon is missing," Aspenleaf mewed as the others told her about her kits.

Oakstorm chased after the few cats. Seeing Hawkclaw, he knew something was up. "Whats going on?!" he hissed.


Keteralpaw looked around at the many cats from all the clans. Seeing a few of her clanmates playing tag, she smiled and joined a group of apprentices from different clans.

LillyPaw shrugged and padded over to the kill-pile and grabbed a mouse. Looking around, he settled his eyes on a small boulder covered in moss near the elder's den. ' Ahah, my little pride rock, eh? ' He thought with a smile. He made his way over to the boulder with a small skip to his steps.

Firebird entered the clearing with the other cats, but stayed near the entrance when the other cats dispersed. The masked cats moved towards her, and she shifted uncomfortably. They surrounded her, and although she tried to push out they formed close around her. A grey tom pressed close to her, and his stench filled her nostrils. "Well, you little apprentice. You thought you could kill a deputy, did you? Thought you could become popular? Become a warrior?" They tried to push her out of the gathering borders, and she was anxiously aware that they could kill her as soon as they were out of the borders.

Sitting up, RipClaw yawned and followed her son out of the nursery. Squinting as the change of scenery hit her, the grey and white she-cat walked over to SunCrow and sat beside him, giving him a thankful look as he mentioned looking after RockKit for a while. Stretching, the cat made her way the the kill pile and picked a large sparrow and walked off back toward the nursery.
